摘要: A planetary gear transmission typically for use on automobiles has first, second, and third planetary gear trains arranged coaxially with each other and each having elements including a sun gear, a carrier, and a ring gear. Two of the elements of each of the first, second, and third planetary gear trains are directly or disengageably coupled to elements of the other planetary gear trains between input and output members. The elements of the first, second, and third planetary gear trains are corotatably coupled into first, second, third, fourth, and fifth rotational members the first, second, and fifth rotational members being coupled to the input member, the fourth rotational member being coupled to the output member. The planetary gear transmission also has a separating clutch disposed between the elements of the second rotational member, for disengageably connecting the elements of the second rotational member.

摘要: A system for controlling an automatic transmission of a vehicle which determines a downgrade or upgrade parameter based on the vehicle acceleration and selects one from among a plurality of shift programs based on the determined grade parameter to determine a gear ratio based on the selected shift program. The system includes a navigation system which determines the instantaneous vehicle position and outputs road information including upgrade/downgrade condition of road including the determined instantaneous vehicle position. In the system, the grade parameter is corrected based on the navigation information and the grade parameter such that the one from among a plurality of shift programs is selected based on the corrected grade parameter, thereby enhancing drivability during downgrade running, without being affected even if the navigation information is temporarily invalid.

摘要: A vibrating compressor having a housing with an inner tube and an outer tube formed concentrically. The inner tube is connected with the outer tube via an end plate. The end plate being disposed at one axial end of the inner tube and the outer tube to form a housing closed end and a housing open end. A permanent magnet is fitted to an inner circumferential surface of the outer tube. A driving coil is provided in a gap between the permanent magnet and the inner tube. A cylinder is fitted into an inside of the inner tube and a hollow piston equipped with a valve is inserted into the cylinder. The hollow piston is connected to the driving coil via a bobbin and is supported by support springs in such a manner as to perform reciprocating motion. A cylinder head connected to the housing forms a compression chamber at an end of the cylinder and compressed fluid is discharged from the compression chamber by the reciprocating motion of the piston. First and second cover plates are disposed at opposite ends of the housing to form a sealed container with the housing.

摘要: A catheter consists of a torque transmitting portion which has rigidity sufficient for torque transmission and a flexible portion made of a material having a glass transition temperature for giving rigidity before insertion and flexibility after insertion. The torque transmitting portion maintains torque transmitting ability before, during and after insertion. The flexible portion maintains appropriate rigidity before and during insertion, which enables easy insertion, and gains flexibility after insertion by the body heat, which avoids hurting of the vulnerable insertion walls. Further, the torque transmitting portion may have a structure wherein a reinforcement of a coil or a braid of linear metal wires, specifically flat rectangular wires, is attached thereto to afford torque transmitting ability. Catheters having various functions and structures can be easily manufactured by extrusion-molding, or the like.

摘要: Polymer compositions for molding in the presence of a foaming agent which comprise at least a polyolefin resin as a base resin and low polarity boron compound powder which is not decomposed at a foaming temperature, such as boron nitride powder as a nucleator. Polymer compositions of the invention are useful for formation of a foamed insulating layer on a conductive material by way of foam molding. By using said polymer composition, a foamed insulating layer excellent in insulation properties which has small dielectric loss factor, tan .delta., at high frequency and high extent of foaming of not less than 70% can be obtained.

摘要: The solenoid valve 30 is mounted on the mounting member 10 with the inlet port section 31 positioned at the lower end thereof extending out downwardly from the bottom face of the mounting member 10, and this mounting member 10 is mounted on the base member 1 to cover the supplied oil path 2 and the discharged oil path 3 formed in the base member 1. The inlet port section 31 of the solenoid valve 30 extending out from the bottom surface of the mounting member 10 extends into the supplied oil path 2, thus the inlet port 31a and the supplied oil path 2 are communicated to each other. Furthermore, the outlet port 31b of the solenoid valve 30 is communicated to the discharged oil path 3 via the communicating groove 12 formed on the bottom surface of the mounting member 10. Also, the electric connector 21 is mounted on the mounting member 10 and the wiring members 25, 26 and 27 connecting the solenoid 36 of the solenoid valve 30 to this electric connector 21 are buried inside the mounting member 10.
