Abstract: The present invention relates to a cover glass for a display, which is a glass plate having a first main surface and a second main surface. The cover glass contains, as represented by mol percentage based on oxides, from 50 to 75% of SiO2, from 5 to 20% of Al2O3, from 2 to 20% of Na2O, from 0 to 6% of K2O, from 0 to 15% of MgO, from 0 to 10% of a total amount (CaO+SrO+BaO) of CaO, SrO and BaO, from 0 to 5% of a total amount (ZrO2+TiO2) of ZrO2 and TiO2, from 0 to 10% of B2O3, and from 0 to 20% of Li2O. The cover glass has a ream minimum distance of 100 mm or more and 1,000 mm or less, and a ream period of 1 mm or more and 30 mm or less.

In the cover glass, a difference Δa* in a* value between any two points within a surface of the cover glass on the side where the antireflection film is present and a difference Δb* in b* value between any two points within the surface of the cover glass on the side where the antireflection film is present satisfy the following expression: √{(Δa*)2+(Δb*)2}≤4.

Abstract: A glass substrate includes a pair of main surfaces including a first main surface and a second main surface opposed to the first main surface; an edge surface arranged along a direction orthogonal to the pair of main surfaces; and a connecting surface arranged between the first main surface and the edge surface. The connecting surface has a plurality of pores. A difference between a 50% particle diameter of the pores in a portion 20 μm distant from the first main surface and a 50% particle diameter in a portion 20 μm distant from the edge surface is 10 μm or less.

Abstract: An antiglare glass substrate includes a glass substrate having a first main surface and a second main surface that is opposite to the first main surface. The first main surface has undergone an antiglare treatment and a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound coating film as an antifouling film is laminated thereon. The first main surface partly includes a non-antiglare-treated portion that has not undergone the antiglare treatment. The non-antiglare-treated portion has a surface roughness Ra of less than 10 nm. A difference in height along a plate thickness direction of the glass substrate between the antiglare-treated portion that has undergone the antiglare treatment and the non-antiglare-treated portion is 10 μm or larger and 200 μm or less.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a glass plate including a first main surface subjected to antiglare treatment, and a second main surface opposed to the first main surface, in which a clarity index value T, a reflection image diffusiveness index value R and an anti-sparkle index value S satisfy respective relations of: clarity index value T≥0.8; reflection image diffusiveness index value R≥0.01; and anti-sparkle index value S≥0.85; and a transmission haze measured by a method according to JIS K 7136 (2000) being 15% or less. The glass plate of the present invention is excellent in clarity, reflection image diffusiveness and anti-sparkle, and also excellent in reproducibility of color.
