Abstract:
An interference-proof electrical plug connector has an insulative housing, two terminal sets, a shielding-grounding plate and a shell. The terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing and each terminal sets has multiple conductive terminals. Each terminal set has multiple conductive terminals and at least one pair of super-speed signal terminals. Each super-speed signal terminal has a mounting section including a widening tab laterally protruding from the mounting section toward an adjacent super-speed signal terminal to reduce the distance between the super-speed signal terminals of the pair. The shielding-grounding plate is mounted in a rear end of the insulative housing. The widening tabs of each pair of the super-speed signal terminals effectively diminish impedance of the super-speed signal terminal such that input loss and return loss of the super-speed signal terminals are reduced.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector assembly has an insulative housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set and a circuit board. The first and second terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing. The first terminal set has multiple first conductive terminals each including a first soldering section. The second terminal set has multiple second conductive terminals each including a second soldering section. The first and second soldering sections are soldered on an identical surface of the circuit board such that only one single soldering process is required to solder all of the first and second conductive terminals to the circuit board. The production rate of the electrical plug connector assembly is therefore improved.
Abstract:
A perpendicular plug connector has an insulative housing, multiple first conductive terminals, multiple second conductive terminals, a base, a reinforcing fastening element and a shell. The first conductive terminals and the base are mounted on the insulative housing. The reinforcing fastening element is mounted on and tightly abutting the base. The shell accommodates the insulative housing and the first conductive terminals. The reinforcing fastening element allows fasteners such as bolts and rivets to extend through and fasten the perpendicular plug connector securely on a circuit board and enhances structural strength of the base.
Abstract:
A receptacle of an electrical connector comprises a metal housing body, a plastic main body positioned in the metal housing body, and flat terminals. The plastic main body incorporates with the metal housing body to form an accommodating space for being plugged by a plug. First and second tongue parts disposed on the plastic main body are respectively close to upper and lower sides of the metal housing body. Each flat terminal comprises a fixing part, a contacting part formed in a flat shape, and a soldering part. The contacting parts are respectively disposed on first and second tongue parts and respectively expose to the accommodating space in downward and upward directions. A tongue of a plastic body of the receptacle, i.e. first and second tongue parts, and the flat terminals are hardly damaged, so as to prevent expensive cost of repairing a damaged receptacle.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulation housing, upper-row plate terminals, and lower-row plate terminals. The metallic shell defines a receptacle cavity to receive the insulation housing. The insulation housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from one side of the base portion. The tongue portion includes an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper-row plate terminals are held on the base portion and tongue portion and include upper-row contact segments at the upper surface for transmitting first signals. The lower-row plate terminals are held on the base portion and tongue portion and include lower-row contact segments at the lower surface for transmitting second signals. The upper-row plate terminals and the lower-row plate terminals are point-symmetrical with a central point of the receptacle cavity as the symmetrical center.
Abstract:
A waterproof and interference proof receptacle connector has an upper insulative housing, a lower insulative housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set, a shell, a watertight casing and an interference proof rear guard. The first and second terminal sets are mounted respectively on the upper and lower insulative housings. The shell is mounted on the upper and lower insulative housings. The watertight casing is mounted around the shell. The interference proof guard is mounted on the watertight casing. The watertight casing provides a waterproof function to allow the waterproof and interference proof receptacle connector to operate in humid or underwater environment.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector provided to connect with an electrical plug connector. The electrical receptacle connector includes a metal shell, an insulation body and a the conductive contact members. The conductive contact members are disposed at the insulation body to connect with the metal shell. The electrical plug connector includes a metal shell and a tubular portion disposed at a front portion of the metal shell. When the electrical plug connector is plugged into the electrical receptacle connector, the surface of the tubular portion of the electrical plug connector is in contact with the conductive contact members.
