    摘要: A system for maximized utilization of a display memory of a type including 2.sup.n memory elements of equal storage capacity arranged in a block fashion in corespondence with a display screen, each memory element being capable of storing, in a two-dimensional address, the pixel data which includes a predetermined number of bits. The system includes 2.sup.n-m memory groups, each includes 2.sup.m memory elements neighboring with each other on the display screen, an RAS switch connected between an RAS signal line and an RAS terminal of each of the memory elements forming each memory group, and a CAS switch connected between a CAS signal line and a CAS terminal of each of the memory elements forming each memory group. Thus, they can be switched over on a hardware basis to allow the reading of the pixel data from the display memory to be compatible with either one of a monochromatic and color display device, or one of a vertically and horizontally longer display device.

    摘要: An electroconductive bonding material contains a thermosetting resin, a low-melting-point metal powder which is melted at a temperature equal to or lower than the thermosetting temperature of the thermosetting resin, a high-melting-point metal powder which is not melted at a temperature equal to or lower than the thermosetting temperature of the thermosetting resin and which reacts with the low-melting-point metal powder to form a reaction product having a high melting point of 300° C. or higher during heat-hardening of the thermosetting resin, and a reducing substance which removes an oxide formed on the surface of the high-melting-point metal powder. The total content of the low-melting-point metal powder and the high-melting-point metal powder is 75% to 88% by weight, and the particle size ratio D1/D2 of the average particle size D1 of the low-melting-point metal powder to the average particle size D2 of the high-melting-point metal powder is 0.5 to 6.0. Thereby, an electroconductive bonding material is provided which has good conduction properties and high connection strength even when reflow heat treatment is repeatedly carried out or thermal shock accompanied with a rapid temperature change is applied to the electroconductive bonding material, and an electronic apparatus using such an electroconductive bonding material.

    摘要: The method of the present invention first provides a plurality of representative color points existing on the surface of a gamut (s20), and sets a plurality of boundary lines that connect the plurality of representative color points substantially along the surface of the gamut (s22). The method subsequently defines a plurality of unit faces that are respectively surrounded by at least three boundary lines and arranged substantially along the surface of the gamut (s24), and sets a color plane to cross the gamut (s26). The method successively selects cross boundary lines that cross the color plane among the plurality of boundary lines, determines intersections of the cross boundary lines and the color plane, selects unit faces that cross the color plane based on the selected cross boundary lines, specifies cross lines of the selected unit faces and the color plane by connecting the intersections, and joins the cross lines to extract a contour of a cross plane area obtained by causing the color plane to cross the gamut (s28). This structure enables the contour of a cross plane area, which is obtained by causing a color plane to cross the gamut, to be accurately extracted even when the color plane is arranged at any arbitrary position and in any arbitrary orientation.
