摘要: A LCD lighting control system comprises a lamp, a self-oscillation inverter, a sampling-frequency generating circuit, a detecting-feedback circuit, a modulator and a buck circuit. The LCD lighting control system samples at the preset sampling location in the self-oscillation inverter or the preset sampling location between the self-oscillation inverter and the buck circuit to synchronize the control signal from the modulator and the self-oscillation frequency, to suppress high-voltage ripple effect, and to enhance stability of the system.

摘要: A system for selecting and delivering content items includes a primary system and a secondary system. Each system includes a server and a datastore of content items that is accessible by the server. The primary system receives a request for a content item, selects an appropriate content item from the primary datastore, and sends a query containing information regarding the selected content item to the secondary system. The secondary system receives the query, searches the secondary datastore, and determines whether to deliver the content item contained in the query, another content item, a default content item, or a pass-back to the requester.

摘要: A mouse configured to display an icon including a top housing that is semi-opaque; and an icon indicator disposed under the top housing, the icon indicator including a light source and an icon plate. The light source is configured to light the icon plate to display an icon through the top housing. The icon indicator and icon are substantially not visible through the top housing if the light source is not lighted.

摘要: Advertisements can be paired based on their context to achieve increased advertising effectiveness that might not be able to be achieved without the pairing. The advertisements can be paired based on a user's preferred context, which includes an attribute of one of the advertisements. For example, a conditional advertisement can be paired with a scheduled advertisement based on an industry type, the length of the other advertisement, or some other characteristic. Each characteristic can be given a weight, to aid in pairing determinations. The effectiveness of the pairing can be tracked, and the context can be iteratively modified based on the measured effectiveness of the advertising campaign. Pairing can be performed without identifying other advertisers, even though weighting factors may take a sponsor's identity into account. Pairing can be constrained by a master schedule and by a maximum allowed number of conditional spots.

摘要: A control system is provided for use in a power tool. The control system includes: a rotational rate sensor having a resonating mass and a controller electrically connected to the rotational rate sensor. The rotational rate sensor detects lateral displacement of the resonating mass and generates a signal indicative of the detected lateral displacement, such that the lateral displacement is directly proportional to a rotational speed at which the power tool rotates about an axis of the rotary shaft. Based on the generated signal, the controller initiates a protective operation to avoid further undesirable rotation of the power tool. The controller may opt to reduce the torque applied to shaft to a non-zero value that enables the operator to regain control of the tool.
