In one aspect, a method includes providing data that cause presentation of a model development user interface receiving first model rule data through the user interface. The first model rule data specify a first characteristic of a violating resource and a threshold score for the first characteristic. Additional model rule data are received through the user interface. The additional model rule data specify one or more additional model rules. Relationship data are received through the user interface for each of the additional model rules. The relationship data specify sets of the additional model rules that violating resources satisfy. Data that cause a hierarchical presentation of the first model rule and the additional model rules are provided.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process of manufacturing co-ground calcium carbonate material made of ground calcium carbonate (GCC) and precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC). The process includes the steps of: (a) providing GCC in an aqueous suspension; (b) co-grinding the aqueous suspension of GCC and an aqueous suspension of PCC, optionally with at least another mineral material, to obtain a co-ground calcium carbonate material having a steepness factor of at least 30; (c) optionally screening and/or upconcentrating the co-ground calcium carbonate material obtained following step (b); and (d) optionally drying the co-ground calcium carbonate material obtained following step (b) or (c).

    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the production of a precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate product from a divalent metalion carbonate which was recovered from waste, the precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate product having an improved brightness, the process comprising the steps of: providing a low-purity divalent metal ion carbonate material, the divalent metal ion carbonate material being recovered from waste; calcining the divalent metal ion carbonate material in order to obtain a divalent metal ion oxide; slaking the divalent metal ion oxide in order to obtain an aqueous suspension of a divalent metal ion hydroxide; carbonating the aqueous suspension of the divalent metal ion hydroxide with a carbon dioxide containing compound in order to obtain fine precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate particles; post-treating the fine precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate particles to obtain fine discrete precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate particles; adding the fine discrete precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate particles to an aqueous suspension of divalent metal ion hydroxide that was obtained by slaking high-purity divalent metal ion hydroxide in order to obtain a resulting reaction mixture; and carbonating the resulting reaction mixture in order to obtain the precipitated divalent metal ion carbonate product having an improved brightness.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for preparing a precipitated calcium carbonate product. The process comprises the steps of preparing an aqueous suspension of precipitated calcium carbonate seeds by carbonating a suspension of Ca(OH)2 in the presence of 0.005 to 0.030 moles of Sr, in the form of Sr(OH)2, based upon moles of Ca(OH)2 prior to or during carbonation; forming an aqueous suspension of a precipitated calcium carbonate product by carbonating a slurry of Ca(OH)2 in the presence of 0.5 to 5% by dry weight of the precipitated calcium carbonate seeds, wherein the precipitated calcium carbonate seeds have a D50 that is less than the D50 of the precipitated calcium carbonate product and the precipitated calcium carbonate seeds have an aragonitic polymorph content greater than or equal to the precipitated calcium carbonate product.

Said pigments are obtained by a carbonation process using a reduced flow rate of CO2/air, which leads to porous agglomerates of PCC of a very specific structure and unique properties, followed by an upconcentration step leading to substantially the same agglomerates but with a higher, appropriate, solids content.
