摘要: An electronic device may include an electronic display including display pixels to display an image based on compensated image data. The electronic display may also include a stressed reference pixel to exhibit burn-in related aging in response to one or more stress sessions and a non-stressed reference pixel configured to not undergo the one or more stress sessions. Additionally, the electronic device may include image processing circuitry to determine a panel-specific aging profile based on a comparison between one or more properties of the stressed reference pixel and the one or more properties of the non-stressed reference pixel. The image processing circuitry may also generate one or more gain maps based on the panel-specific aging profile and generate the compensated image data by applying the one or more gain maps to input image data.

摘要: A lenticular display may be formed with convex curvature. The lenticular display may have a lenticular lens film with lenticular lenses that extend across the length of the display. The lenticular lenses may be configured to enable stereoscopic viewing of the display. To enable more curvature in the display while ensuring satisfactory stereoscopic display performance, the display may have stereoscopic zones and non-stereoscopic zones. A central stereoscopic zone may be interposed between first and second non-stereoscopic zones. The non-stereoscopic zones may have more curvature than the stereoscopic zone. To prevent crosstalk within the lenticular display, a louver film may be incorporated into the display. The pixel array may have a diagonal layout and may be covered by vertically oriented lenticular lenses.

摘要: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display may have an array of organic light-emitting diode pixels that each have OLED layers interposed between a cathode and an anode. Voltage may be applied to the anode of each pixel to control the magnitude of emitted light. The conductivity of the OLED layers may allow leakage current to pass between neighboring anodes in the display. To reduce leakage current and the accompanying cross-talk, resistance of a laterally conductive OLED layer may be increased. The laterally conductive layer may include an organic host material, dopants, and a resistance-increasing additive. Another way to reduce leakage current is to apply bias voltages to the anodes of the display and/or expose the laterally conductive layer to ultraviolet light, causing dopants within the laterally conductive layer to degrade.
