Aqueous silicone polymer emulsion The presently claimed invention relates to a composition in form of an emulsion of water incompatible silicone oil comprising droplets of silicone oil dispersed in a continuous aqueous phase. The composition provides better slip and mar resistance, anti-blocking properties and optical properties to the coating formulations, printing ink, personal care product compositions, textiles, leather and indirect food contact applications.

(A) platelet-shaped transition metal particles, wherein the number mean diameter of the platelet-shaped transition metal particles, present in the composition, is in the range of from 15 nm to 1000 nm, the transition metal is selected from silver, copper, gold and palladium, especially silver and copper, very especially silver; (B) one, or more reactive diluents (B); (C) one, or more oligomers (C); (D) one, or more photoinitiators (D); (E) at least a surfactant (E), which is a block copolymer, comprising at least a block A and a block B, wherein a) the block A comprises a1) monomer units (A1) derived from a compound selected from alkyl (meth)acrylates, alkyl (meth)acrylamides, or any mixture thereof, and a2) monomer units (A2) derived from a hydroxy group, or ether group containing alkyl (meth)acrylate; b) the block B comprises monomer units (B) derived from a compound selected from fluorinated (meth)acrylic esters of formula

The presently claimed invention relates to polymers obtainable by condensing at least one N-(hydroxyalkyl)amine and reacting the condensation product with glycidyl ethers as well as to a process for preparing said polymers. The presently claimed invention further relates to a use of the polymer as a wetting agent and as a component of defoamer compositions. The presently claimed invention further relates to a coating composition comprising the polymer as a wetting agent and to a defoamer composition comprising the polymer.

The invention relates to a process for preparing oligo- or polyalkylene ether-modified polysiloxanes by transesterification of alkoxy-functionalized polysiloxanes with OH-terminated oligo- or polyalkylene ethers in the presence of an alkanesulfonic acid as catalyst. Oligo- or polyalkylene ether-modified polydimethylsiloxanes obtainable through this process are suitable as defoamers, as wetting agents, and as additives in coating material formulations.

The present invention relates to aqueous polymer-silicon oil hybrid compositions in the form of aqueous dispersions of finely divided polymer-silicon oil hybrid particles which comprise at least one water-insoluble polymer P made of ethylenically unsaturated monomers M, at least one surface-active substance and at least non-polymerizable, non-polar silicon oil. The present invention relates in particular to the use of these compositions as additives in aqueous coating and printing ink compositions.
