摘要： A fuel composition comprising a major amount of hydrocarbons boiling in the gasoline or diesel range and an alkylene oxide-adducted hydrocarbyl amide reaction product having from about 3 to 50 moles of alkylene oxide per mole of hydrocarbyl amide, wherein the reaction product is prepared by (a) first reacting a fatty acid or fatty acid lower alkyl ester with ammonia or a mono- or di-hydroxy hydrocarbyl amine and (b) subsequently reacting the resulting intermediate with an alkylene oxide to provide a reaction product comprising the alkylene oxide-adducted hydrocarbyl amide, a mixture of mono- and di-ester products, and amine by-products, wherein the amount of amine by-products in the reaction product is less than 7 wt %, based on the total weight of the alkylene oxide-adducted hydrocarbyl amide reaction product, and the amide:ester ratio in the reaction product is in the range of about 0.1:1 to 1.1:1.

摘要： A process is described for preparing alkylene oxide-adducted hydrocarbyl amides having less than 2 wt % of amine by-products by a) reacting a C4-C30 fatty acid or fatty acid lower alkyl ester with a mono- or di-hydroxy hydrocarbyl amine to form a hydrocarbyl amide; b) reacting the hydrocarbyl amide with alkylene oxide; and c) extracting the product of b) with water, acidic water, or water-containing inorganic salts or a combination thereof at a temperature from about 5° C. to 95° C. to yield an alkylene oxide-adducted hydrocarbyl amide having less than 2 wt % of amine by-products.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for preparing nonylated diphenylamines which improves nonene usage by recycling and reusing stripped nonene from an earlier process. The process comprising consecutive recycle of recovered nonene is conducted at a sequential two step temperature reaction, namely a more severe temperature followed by a lower temperature. The product prepared by this process is a useful antioxidant for lubricating oil compositions.

The method involves introducing lubricating the heavy duty diesel engine with a heavy duty diesel engine lubricating oil composition comprising (a) a major amount of an oil of lubricating viscosity; and (b) a minor effective amount of an ashless friction modifier comprising a reaction product of a C4 to about C75 fatty acid ester and a mono- or dialkanolamine.

The method comprises providing process data representative of the given process to perform; acquiring 3D geometrical data of a portion of the object; generating a model of the portion of the object using the acquired 3D geometrical data; generating a set of instructions for the automated machine according to the generated model and the process data; and providing the set of instructions to the automated machine for performing the given process on the portion of the object. The method may be adapted for cost-effectively automating the manufacturing of a unitary object while taking into consideration actual deformations of the object prior to generate the instructions for the automated machine.
