摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing of solid particulate olefin polymerisation catalyst or catalyst carrier comprising forming a solution of the catalyst or a catalyst carrier in a solvent, subjecting the solution into an atomization by spraying the solution via a capillary vibrating spray nozzle with a capillary orifice having a diameter of 5 to 100 μm generating a laminar jet of liquid, which disintegrates into liquid droplets entering into the spray-dryer, transforming the droplets with aid of a gas to solid particulate catalyst or carrier in the spray-dryer and recovering the solid particulate olefin polymerisation catalyst or carrier having particle size distribution defined by a volumetric SPAN of 0.7 or less. The invention further relates to the catalyst produced by the methods, and use thereof in olefin polymerisation process.

摘要: A process for polymerizing ethylene in the presence of a polymerization catalyst by copolymerizing ethylene with a comonomer selected from the group of C4-C10 alpha-olefins in three polymerization stages. The polymers produced in the three stages have different melt flow rates. The polymer composition produced by the process has good mechanical properties and can be used for making pipes. The process has a good productivity and provides a stable and economic operation.

摘要: The invention provides a process for the preparation of a multimodal high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a melt flow rate (MFR2) of 0.1 to 4.0 g/10 min, said process comprising: (i) polymerising ethylene in a first polymerisation stage in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst to prepare a first ethylene homopolymer having a MFR2 from 10 to 500 g/10 min; (ii) polymerising ethylene in a second polymerisation stage in the presence of said catalyst and said first ethylene homopolymer to prepare an ethylene homopolymer mixture comprising said first ethylene homopolymer and a second ethylene homopolymer, said mixture having a MFR2 from 50 to 1000 g/10 min; and (iii) polymerising ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin comonomer in a third polymerisation stage in the presence of said catalyst and said ethylene homopolymer mixture to prepare said multimodal HDPE.

The invention further relates to the catalysts and use thereof in said multistage process r for producing ethylene copolymers having melt flow rate ratio FRR21/5 at least 40 and/or polydispersity index PDI of at least 27.

摘要: A process for the preparation of a solid olefin polymerization catalyst or a solid olefin polymerization catalyst component comprising the steps of: (a) forming a liquid/liquid emulsion of (i) a first organic liquid comprising at least one olefin polymerization catalyst component and (ii) an optionally halogenated hydrocarbon liquid immiscible therewith; where the first organic liquid forms the dispersed phase and the optionally halogenated hydrocarbon liquid forms the continuous phase of the liquid/liquid emulsion and wherein the dispersed phase forms droplets in the continuous phase; and (b) transforming the droplets of the dispersed phase to solid particulate particles comprising said at least one olefin polymerization catalyst component, wherein the liquid/liquid emulsion is stabilized with a solid particulate stabilizer.
