摘要: Hydrocarbon wells and methods for identifying production from a region of a subterranean formation. The hydrocarbon wells include a wellbore extending within the region of the subterranean formation and a production tubular that defines a production conduit and extends at least partially within the wellbore. The hydrocarbon wells also include an electromagnetic transmitter, an electromagnetic receiver, and a controller. The electromagnetic transmitter is configured to provide an input electromagnetic signal to a region of the production conduit to electromagnetically excite a produced tracer material that forms a portion of a produced stream that flows within the production tubular. The electromagnetic receiver is configured to receive an electromagnetic output signal from the region of the production conduit. The controller is programmed to identify the region of the subterranean formation based, at least in part, on the output electromagnetic signal. The methods include methods of operating the hydrocarbon wells.

摘要: The subject invention relates to systems and methods that enable dynamic programming and execution of an electronic communications dialog. In one aspect, a configurable messaging system is provided. The system includes a configuration file to describe interface options of a computerized dialog session, wherein the configuration file specifies interface activities and state transitions between the interface options within the configuration file. A state controller executes the interface options during communications activities with the dialog session. The configuration file can also describe prompt elements to solicit information from users or applications.

摘要: Structured hierarchies for communicating contextual information relating to a VoIP conversation are provided. The structured hierarchies are utilized for efficient communications of various amounts and types of contextual information over a VoIP conversation channel. Information identifying at least one structured hierarchy, which will be used to carry the contextual information, is transmitted during establishment of a conversation between two VoIP enhanced devices and prior to the exchange of contextual information. The structural hierarchy is selected from a set of predefined and declared structured hierarchies. Subsequently transmitted contextual information exchanged between two VoIP enhanced devices is represented in accordance with the identified structural hierarchy. Additionally, the structural hierarchies can be extensible by the addition of more definitions to the current structural hierarchies.

摘要: With the present invention, a circuit card assembly having a nonvertically approaching device may be manufactured with reflow soldering. The circuit card assembly includes a circuit card and a nonvertically approaching device such as an edge connector, which is soldered to the circuit card with reflowed solder. The device is soldered to the circuit card by initially heating the circuit card, along with included reflow solder, prior to mating the device to the circuit card. Once the solder has melted and while it is in a liquidus state, the device is mated with the circuit card. In this manner, the nonvertically approaching leads of the device slide into the solder as they are positioned onto their circuit card soldering surfaces. Once cooled, the solder solidifies to conductively mount the device to the circuit card.A mating pallet is provided for soldering a device having nonvertically approaching leads to a circuit card. In one embodiment, the mating pallet comprises a holder assembly and a trigger assembly. The holder assembly holds the device in an oven while the nonliquidus solder is heated for reflow. The trigger assembly is in communication with the holder assembly in order to trigger it to mate the device with the circuit card while the solder is liquidus.

摘要: A method for improving the productivity of a well by separating and disposing of at least a portion of the water which is produced from a subterranean producing formation. The water is allowed to separate from the produced fluids under the influence of gravity while in the wellbore. The separated water is then disposed without removing it from the wellbore by flowing it into a subterranean disposal formation which has a pressure less than that of said producing formation. Preferably, the well is completed with an inclined wellbore which significantly aids in the gravity separation of the water from the produced fluids (e.g. hydrocarbons).

摘要: A replacement station includes an old split-pin-assembly (OSPA) removal stand and a new split-pin-assembly (NSPA) installation stand. The removal stand includes a saw and a drill. With the guide tube to which the OSPA is secured in the removal stand, the saw severs each OSPA below the flange which engages the base of the lower counterbore in the lower guide tube (LGT) separating the OSPA into a pin fragment and a second fragment including the flange and the remainder of the split-pin with the nut threaded into it. The second fragment remains secured to the LGT after the sawing operation. The guide tube is rotated so that the drill is coaxial with the shank of the pin of the second fragment. The second fragment is separated into a third fragment including the flange and a fourth fragment including the remainder of the pin and the nut both removable from the LGT. The installation stand has NSPA blades in which the new split pins are mounted. The LGT sans the OSPA's is positioned on the installation stand. The new nuts are mounted and torqued into the split pins with a long-handled runner and a torque tool permitting a measured torque to be applied to the new nut. Then the cups on the nuts are crimped by a long-handled crimping assembly which has fixed crimping jaws that produce the crimping by moving parallel to the wall of the cup.

摘要: A system and/or methodology that unifies a telephonic communication component and/or system with a data (e.g., messaging) server component and/or system. The system can facilitate telephonically accessing rich information in the server (e.g., messaging server). This rich information can include email content, calendar content, contacts information, or the like. Moreover, with access to an application programming interface, the invention can add functionality to initiate email communications as well as to accept or cancel meetings. Furthermore, the invention can synchronize messages of disparate formats. By way of example a user can set an “Out of Office” (OOF) status on both an email systems and telephone voicemail system from one location in one action. In another aspect, it will be appreciated that any message or data component can be analyzed, transformed, matched and/or communicated from one system to another (e.g., server to telephone) in accordance with the subject invention.
