    摘要: A lithium ion battery electrolyte for use in lithium ion batteries. The electrolyte includes LiPF6, LiBF4, LiB(C2O4)2, or a related salt dissolved in a mixture of organic carbonate, ether or ester solvents with low concentrations of oxidatively unstable additives such that the additives react with a surface of cathode particles to generate a passivation film which prevents oxidation of the electrolyte by the cathode. The additive is a polymerizable organic molecule selected from 2,3-dihydrofuran (2,3-DHF), 2,5-dihydrofuran (2,5-DHF), vinylene carbonate (VC), vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMS), dimethyl vinylene cabonate (DMVC), and gamma-buyrolactone, or related unsaturated ethers, esters, or carbonates.

    摘要: Lithium-ion electrochemical cells are provided that include a positive electrode that includes a lithium metal oxide or a lithium metal phosphate, a negative electrode capable of intercalating or alloying with lithium, and an electrolyte that includes an additive. The additive includes a multifunctional anion that has the formula, X—SO2—Rf—SO2—Y, wherein X and Y are, independently, either O— or RfSO2N—, Rf is a straight or branched fluoroalkyl moiety having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and can, optionally, contain one or more in-chain heteroatoms, wherein Rf is a straight or branched chain or cyclic fluoroalkylene having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms and can, optionally, contain one or more in-chain heteroatoms, and wherein both Rf and Rf have a maximum of 20% non-fluorine substituents. The provided additives can improve the performance, hydrolytic stability, and thermal stability of the provided electrochemical cells.

The alignment film comprises polyimide obtained by reacting the compound as shown in Formula 2 or Formula 3 with the aromatic diamine as shown in Formula 1, wherein the R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R1′, R2′, R3′, R4′, R5′, R6′, R7′, or R8′ substituent is H, alkyl, aralkyl or haloalkyl, and the Ar is aryl. The liquid crystal alignment film has a tactic spatial configuration, decreases the π-π attractive interaction between the polyimide backbones, allows the directional and homogenous alignment of the liquid crystal molecules on the surface of the polyimide, and thereby increases the contrast of the liquid crystal display.
