Abstract: The present application provides an end cap assembly, a battery cell, a battery module, a battery, an electrical device, and a manufacturing method for the end cap assembly. The end cap assembly is applied to the battery cell and includes: an end cap sheet, electrode columns, and adapter sheets; the end cap sheet is provided with electrode through holes; the electrode columns are configured for inputting or outputting electric energy of the battery cell, the electrode columns cover the electrode through holes, each electrode column is provided with a first concave portion recessed towards an interior of the battery cell; and each of the adapter sheets is provided with a second concave portion matching with the first concave portion, and configured for electrically connecting the electrode columns with an electrolytic cell or a galvanic cell inside the battery cell.

Abstract: A cover assembly includes a cover plate including a gas vent, a gas exhaust valve configured to seal the gas vent and deform in response to an increase in temperature to get out of a state of sealing the gas vent, and a sealing part. The gas exhaust valve includes a metal sheet and a fixing part. The metal sheet seals the gas vent. The sealing part is arranged between the metal sheet and the cover plate for sealing a gap between the metal sheet and the cover plate. The fixing part is connected to the metal sheet. The metal sheet is fixed to the cover plate by the fixing part. The fixing part is configured to deform in response to an increase in temperature in such a manner that the metal sheet gets out of the state of sealing the gas vent.

Abstract: Disclosed is an adhesive tape for an electrode tab, which includes a base-material layer and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes a thick region and a thin region which extend from a side edge of the adhesive tape in a width direction of the adhesive layer, the thick region is distributed along the side edge of the adhesive tape, and an adhesive layer thickness of the thick region is greater than an adhesive layer thickness of the thin region. A ratio of an area of the thin region to an area of the thick region is 1:0.02-0.25, optionally 1:0.025-0.18, and further optionally 1:0.0275-0.125. The adhesive tape covers an edge of the tab to fundamentally prevent contact between the tab and a battery cell body.

Abstract: This application relates to a cover assembly of a secondary battery. The cover assembly includes a cover plate with an air hole; a blocker inserted into and blocking the air hole; a sealing member disposed between the blocker and the cover plate configured to seal a gap between the blocker and the cover plate; and a fastener disposed inside the air hole. The fastener is connected to the cover plate, the blocker is connected to the cover plate through the fastener. The fastener is configured to deform in response to a temperature rise, so that the blocker stops blocking the air hole. The blocker stops blocking the air hole as a temperature inside a housing rises, to discharge gas from the housing through the air hole. In this way, the secondary battery can be prevented from an explosion, while partial heat is taken away through gas discharge.

The battery cell includes a housing, an electrode assembly, an end cover assembly and a current collecting member. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing, and the electrode assembly includes a tab. The end cover assembly includes an end cover, an electrode terminal and an insulating member, the end cover is used to cover at an opening of the housing, the electrode terminal is mounted to the end cover, and the insulating member is located on one side of the end cover facing the electrode assembly. The current collecting member is used to connect the electrode terminal and the tab. This structure can make more space for the electrode assembly and can effectively increase the capacity of the battery cell.
