Abstract: The disclosure provides a battery heating system and a control method thereof. The system includes a first switch, a second switch, a switch component, a motor, and a main controller. The heat exchange plate is connected to the plurality of batteries through the heat-conducting connecting piece, and the heat exchange plate at least partially covers each explosion-proof valve. The flow guide piece is arranged between the plurality of batteries and the heat exchange plate, the flow guide piece is provided with a positioning hole penetrating in a height direction of the battery pack, and the positioning hole exposes the corresponding explosion-proof valve. The flow guide piece separates the corresponding explosion-proof valve from the heat-conducting connecting piece.

The battery heating system includes a main positive switch, a main negative switch, an inverter, a motor, and a battery management unit. The inverter includes a first phase bridge arm, a second phase bridge arm and a third phase bridge arm connected in parallel. A motor controller in the inverter is configured to output a drive signal to a target upper-bridge-arm switch unit and a target lower-bridge-arm switch unit, so as to control the target upper-bridge-arm switch unit and the target lower-bridge-arm switch unit to be periodically turned on and off. The battery management unit is configured to collect state parameters of the battery pack. When the state parameters of the battery pack meet preset heating conditions, a control signal is sent to the motor controller to control the motor controller to output the drive signal.

Abstract: A thermal management device and a battery pack are provided. The thermal management device applied in a battery pack. The battery pack includes a case and a plurality of cells received in the case. The thermal management device includes: a thermal management loop attached to each cell and at least partially covering a part of a vent of each cell; a heat exchange member communicating with the thermal management loop; and a power component connected between the thermal management loop and the heat exchange member. A heat exchange medium with a fire-extinguishing function is provided within the thermal management loop. The thermal management loop is broken in a condition where at least one cell is subjected to thermal runaway such that the heat exchange medium flows into an explosion-proof port of the at least one cell.
