    Abstract: A system, related method and computer program product are disclosed for controlling fuel mass of CNG received by an engine. The system may comprise a heat exchanger configured to receive CLNG and supply coolant and to output CNG and return coolant, an injector configured to inject CNG into the engine, a gas line between the injector and heat exchanger, a control valve configured to receive return coolant from the heat exchanger and to change the amount of return coolant flowing through control valve, and a controller connected to the control valve. The gas line may be configured to carry CNG from the heat exchanger to the injector. The controller may be configured to maintain a Gas Line Temperature within an operating range by adjusting the amount of return coolant flowing through the control valve based, at least in part, on the Gas Line Temperature and a Target Return Coolant Temperature.

The system has an exhaust system, from which exhaust is discharged and collected on an exhaust manifold. A control valve is coupled to a first flow path operable to direct the exhaust through the heat exchanger across the first flow path and a second flow path in selective amounts.

    Abstract: A manifold for a pump is configured to connect to a jacket to form a reservoir and to connect to at least one pumping mechanism disposed within the reservoir. The manifold includes a first side including a first side surface configured to face the reservoir and a second side including a second side surface. The manifold also includes a bypass passage, at least one push rod guide bore extending through the first side surface and the second side surface, and a leakage passage fluidly connecting the at least one push rod guide bore to an outlet disposed outside the first side surface. The manifold further includes a discharge passage including at least one inlet disposed in the first side surface, and the at least one inlet is configured to receive fluid pumped by the at least one pumping mechanism.

    Abstract: A fuel pump system configured to control a pressure pulse within a fuel system. The fuel pump system includes a conduit and a pump fluidly coupled to the conduit. The conduit has a conduit volume and is configured to contain fuel within. The pump includes a first pump stage in which the pump defines a maximum pump displacement and a second pump stage in which the pump defines a minimum pump displacement. The pump is configured to provide an output mass of fuel to the conduit when the pump transitions from the first pump stage to the second pump stage, causing pressure of the fuel within the conduit to pulse. The maximum pump displacement is set to a value defined by a ratio of the output mass of fuel per the conduit volume needed to maintain the pressure pulse in the conduit within a predetermined pressure pulse range.
