    摘要: Various methods, systems, and apparatuses are described in which a light source (101) capable of lasing is wavelength locked by an injected light signal. The light source (101) capable of lasing, such as a Fabry-Perot laser diode, may have antireflective coating on one or more facets of the light source (101) capable of lasing. The light source (101) capable of lasing receives a spectral slice of a light signal from a broadband light source (113) to wavelength lock the output wavelength of the light source (101) capable of lasing within the bandwidth of the injected light signal. A current pump (141) may bias the light source (101) capable of lasing to operate as a reflective regenerate semiconductor optical amplifier so that the injected light is reflected back out a front facet after being amplified and wavelength locked. The current pump (141) may also bias the light source (101) capable of lasing such that the externally injected narrow-band light signal into the light source (101) capable of lasing suppresses the lasing modes outside of the bandwidth of injected incoherent light.

    摘要: An optical amplifier comprises a wavelength tunable filter, one or more optical gain stages, and a controller for controlling a spectral profile of the wavelength tunable filter in response to a measured spectral characteristic of the amplifier. The controller may also control gain of the gain stage(s). The controller determines the filter spectral profile necessary to obtain a desired amplifier spectral characteristic. The spectral characteristic may, for example, be a power spectral output of the amplifier or a gain profile of the amplifier. The amplifier may incorporate a dispersion compensator. The controller may control a spectral profile of the wavelength tunable filter and gain of the dispersion compensator. A tunable fiber light source is also described.

The needleless injector includes: a piston shaft including a plurality of holders on an outer surface in a circumferential direction thereof; a cylinder assembly which slidably receives and supports the piston shaft in the forward and backward directions; a plurality of balls which are received in the cylinder assembly and disposed around the piston shaft, the plurality of balls being movable in a radial direction and inserted into the plurality of holders when the piston shaft is moved in the backward direction; a trigger button slidably coupled to a rear end of the cylinder assembly to form a trigger end interrupting the movement of the balls inserted into the holders in the radial direction, the trigger button releasing the interruption of the trigger end when the piston shaft is slid in the forward direction; a first elastic pressing unit for pressing the piston in the forward direction; and a second elastic pressing unit for pressing the trigger button in the backward direction.Thus, the needleless injector can have a simplified structure to improve the use convenience thereof.

The pattern forming method may be a soft lithography process that includes: contacting a soft mold having a particular pattern with a surface of a buffer layer and applying a constant heat to the soft mold and buffer layer to transfer the particular pattern onto the buffer layer.
