    摘要: The present invention relates to a coating material formulation comprising a mixture comprising as component a1 at least one surfactant and as component a2 at least one compound corresponding to the general formula (I) R1—O—(CH2—CHR2—O)n—(CH2—CH2—O)m—R3  (I) in which R1 is phenyl or substituted phenyl, C4-C14 alkyl, R2 is C1-C8 alkyl, R3 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, benzoyl, acetyl, acryloyl, methacryloyl, n has an average value of 0 to 10, m has an average value of 1 to 10, where n+m≦10 and m>n, and the alkylene oxide structural units, which are different if appropriate, can be distributed randomly or arranged in blocks, 1%-95% by weight of film-forming binders and resins, 0%-80% by weight of fillers, 0%-40% by weight of pigments, 0%-20% by weight of additives and 0%-90% by weight of organic solvents and/or water, the sum of the weight percentages being 100% by weight, and to the use of the mixture of the invention for lowering the surface tension in a coating material by addition to the coating material.

    摘要: Water-soluble polymers having K values of from 5 to 100 (determined on the Na salt of the polymers according to H. Fikentscher in aqueous solution at 25.degree. C., a pH of 7 and a concentration of 1% by weight of the Na salt of the polymer) are prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture of(a) monethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 -monocarboxylic acids and(b) more than 20-100 mol % of monomers which have two or more ethylenically unsaturated double bonds linked via one or more ester or amide functions and which contain one or more --CO--OX groups, where X is one hydrogen equivalent, one alkali metal equivalent or one alkaline earth metal equivalent or an ammonium group,in aqueous solution in the presence of a polymerization initiator, and the polymers are used in amounts of from 0.5 to 25% by weight in detergents and cleaners.

C., at a pH of 7 and at a concentration of the Na salt of the polymer of 1% by weight) are prepared by copolymerization of monomer mixtures of(a) from 98.5 to 18.5 mol % of one or more monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -monocarboxylic acids,(b) from 1.5 to 20 mol % of one or more comonomers which contain two or more ethylenically unsaturated, nonconjugated double bonds which are separated from one another by one or more ester bonds,(c) from 0 to 80 mol % of one or more monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.4 -C.sub.6 -dicarboxylic acids or their anhydrides and(d) from 0 to 20 mol % of other monoethylenically unsaturated comonomers which are copolymerizable with the monomers (a), (b) and (c),the sum of the molar percentages (a) to (d) always being 100, in the presence of a polymerization initiator and a polymerization regulator at not more than 200.degree.
