Abstract: A lamp includes an optically transmissive enclosure and a base connected to the enclosure. A LED board is positioned in the enclosure and has a first side and a second side. A first LED array is mounted on the first side and a second LED array is mounted on the second side where the LED arrays are operable to emit light when energized through an electrical path from the base. A first diffusive lens and a second diffusive lens are located inside of and spaced from the enclosure. The first diffusive lens receives light emitted from the first LED array and the second diffusive lens receives light emitted from the second LED array.

Abstract: A lighting apparatus a first group of at least one first solid state emitter, each first solid state emitter including a first light emitting diode (“LED”) that, when excited, emits light having a peak wavelength in a range between about 440 nm and about 475 nm, and a second group of at least one second solid state emitter, each second solid state emitter comprising a second LED that, when excited, emits light having a peak wavelength in a range between about 390 nm and about 415 nm. Between about 2% and about 15% of a spectral power of light emitted from the lighting apparatus is light having wavelengths in the range between about 390 nm and about 415 nm.

Abstract: Solid state light emitter devices and methods are provided. A solid state light emitter device can include a submount having an upper surface and a bottom surface. At least first pair and a second pair of electrically conductive contacts can be disposed on the bottom surface of the submount. The first pair of contacts can be electrically independent from the second pair of contacts. The device can further include multiple light emitters provided on the upper surface of the submount. The multiple light emitters can be configured into at least a first light emitter zone that is electrically independent from a second light emitter zone upon electrical communication to a respective pair of contacts.

A reflector has an enclosed wall shape and is disposed such that LEDs are mounted inside of and outside of the reflector. The reflector includes a reflective outer surface where in cross-section the reflective outer surface is disposed at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the lamp such that the reflective outer surface diverges away from the longitudinal axis as it extends away from the base. The reflective outer surface may be disposed at an angle of between approximately 83 and 89 degrees relative to the plane of the LEDs.
