A location information display system includes a portable communication terminal receiving location information of respective users belonging to a predetermined group from a server, and a vehicular communication device receiving the location information from the portable communication terminal and displaying icons indicating present locations of the respective users identified based on the received location information by superimposing the icons on a map screen. The vehicular communication device notifies the portable communication terminal of a selection condition. The portable communication terminal acquires the selection condition from the vehicular communication device, selects one or more users who satisfy the acquired selection condition, and transmits the location information of the selected users to the vehicular communication device.

An information code generation apparatus includes: a setting unit that specifies a destination position based on position specifying information included in coding information for generating an information code, wherein the setting unit acquires, from a database, environment information indicating information on a peripheral environment of the specified destination position, and sets a display range of a map image to be displayed by adjusting at least one of a center position or a display scale based on the destination position and the acquired environment information; and an information code generation unit that acquires, from the database, the map image having the display range set by the setting unit, and generates the information code by integrating the map image with the information code.

The server is provided with a WEB screen providing unit for providing a WEB screen including instructions for the operator in a manner that the communication terminal can display via a communication network. A map information assessment device has a processor configured to match a plurality of first zones representing a first road in a first map, with second zones representing a second road in a second map, the matching being made by using locations on the second road that are closest to the starting points of the first zones as the starting points, and using zones having the same lengths as the first zones, as the second zones corresponding to the first zones, to calculate zone adjacent distances between the end points of the second zones and the starting points of other second zones adjacent to those second zones, and to determine that positional information for the first road in a first zone is different from positional information for the second road in a second zone corresponding to that first zone, when the zone adjacent distance is greater than a threshold.
