    Abstract: A deterioration inhibiting circuit includes a switchover circuit that inhibits characteristic deterioration of first and second transistors included in a differential pair circuit having first and second input terminals. A gate of the first transistor is connected to the first input terminal, and a gate of the second transistor is connected to the second input terminal. The switchover circuit executes switchover between a first state and a second state. In the first state, a first voltage is applied to the gate of the first transistor and a second voltage is applied to the gate of the second transistor. In the second state, the second voltage is applied to the gate of the first transistor and the first voltage is applied to the gate of the second transistor. the first voltage is higher than an intermediate voltage, and the second voltage is lower than the intermediate voltage.

    Abstract: A current sensor includes a current detection unit, a relay, a relay control unit, and a resistance value correction circuit. The current detection unit detects a detection target current based on a terminal voltage of a shunt resistor located in series with a path through which the detection target current flows and a detection resistance value for current detection corresponding to a resistance value of the shunt resistor. The relay is located in series with the path through which the detection target current flows. The relay control unit controls the relay to be turned on or off. The resistance value correction circuit calculates the resistance value of the shunt resistor as a calculated resistance value and corrects the detection resistance value based on the calculated resistance value.

    Abstract: A delta-sigma modulator includes a capacitively-coupled amplifier, a first integrator, a second integrator, a quantizer, a first switch, a second switch, and a control circuit.     Abstract: A shunt-based current sensor executes redundancy detection of a load current flowing through a load by using a shunt resistor. The shunt-based current sensor includes a reference resistor, a current excitation circuit, at least two voltage measurement circuits and a signal processing circuit. The reference resistor is connected to the shunt resistor in series. The current excitation circuit generates an AC excitation current and supply the AC excitation current to the shunt resistor and the reference resistor. At least two voltage measurement circuits measure a voltage across the shunt resistor. A signal processing circuit executes signal processing based on respective measurement voltages of the at least two voltage measurement circuits, and is operated in the load current redundancy detection mode or a shunt resistance measurement mode.

    Abstract: A differential transmission circuit for a communication device performs bidirectional communication via a differential transmission line. The differential transmission circuit include: output transistors that are turned on and off according to a drive signal during a transmission period; a signal generation unit that generates and outputs the drive signal; short-circuit transistors connected between gates and drains of the output transistors; and a cut off unit that cuts off a supply path of the drive signal between the signal generation unit and the gates of the output transistors. The cut off unit cuts off the supply path of the drive signal during a reception period in which a reception operation is performed by the communication device.

    Abstract: In a communication system, a control unit and driver units are connected in a daisy chain; each unit includes a corresponding insulated communication circuit, respectively. The control unit measures a communication delay time between the control unit and each driver unit from a response time to transmission of a pulse signal performed to each driver unit during a measurement period. Then, based on each communication delay time, the control unit transmits a shift time to each driver unit for equalizing the timing of signals output by the driver units. When each driver unit receives, from the control unit, an instruction instructing each driver unit to output a signal, each driver unit outputs the signal when the shift time has elapsed.

    Abstract: An analog-to-digital converter includes an input-signal chopping switch, an integrator, an output chopping switch, a quantizer, and a feedback switch. The integrator is located after the input-signal chopping switch. The input-signal chopping switch, the integral-capacitor-chopping input switch, the output chopping switch, and the feedback chopping switch execute chopping at an identical frequency. The output chopping switch sets a polarity of an input value of the quantizer to be identical before and after the chopping.

    Abstract: A gyroscope includes a MEMS sensor having a drive signal input terminal, a drive signal output terminal, and a sense signal output terminal. The gyroscope further includes a quadrature demodulator that demodulates a modulated sense signal and offset canceller circuits that cancel a direct current offset component included in an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal of the sense signal. The gyroscope has a quadrature error detector that detects a quadrature error based on the signals input from the offset canceller circuits and outputs an error signal. The gyroscope also has an IQ corrector circuit that receives the in-phase signal and the quadrature signal of the sense signal as inputs, and outputs a phase signal with a phase based on the error signal.
