    摘要: An improved tablet hardness tester includes a ram and anvil for fracturing a tablet therebetween, a support for holding a tablet in position for fracturing between the ram and anvil, a strain gauge for measuring the force exerted by the ram in fracturing the tablet, and an indicator for indicating the measured force. The support according to the invention is a plurality of spaced-apart elongated member, preferably a pair of parallel wires. A tablet is placed on these wires and then crushed by the ram and anvil so that the pieces of the broken tablet fall beneath the wires into a container, thus eliminating the need for cleaning the support prior to a subsequent tablet hardness measurement.

    摘要: A medical patch system has a first medical patch including an outer locating ring securable to a surface and an inner patch, separable from the outer locating ring, disposed within the outer locating ring. The medical patch system includes a second medical patch adapted for insertion into the central area bounded by the outer locating ring after the inner patch is separated from the outer locating ring. The second medical patch includes a second outer locating ring securable to the surface, and a second inner patch section, separable from the second outer locating ring, disposed within a second central area bounded by the second outer locating ring. The first and second outer locating rings have adhesive layers for securing the outer locating rings to a surface. The adhesive layers on the respective outer locating rings have different sizes, shapes or patterns to minimize skin irritation.
