The present invention relates to a carbon nanotube transistor biosensor with aptamers and a method for detecting a target material using the same, more particularly to a carbon nanotube transistor biosensor recognizing the target material, i.e., a specific molecule (such as a protein, a peptide, an amino acid, and an organic/inorganic compound) by using DNA aptamers and a method for screening a target material using the same. In the biosensor of the present invention, the aptamers binding specifically to a particular protein are adsorbed on a carbon nanotube constituting the channel domain of carbon nanotube transistor to easily detect/identify a particular protein via the electric conductivity of carbon nanotube that varies if the particular protein is exposed to corresponding aptamers.

This invention relates to a method of joining silicon nitride having on its surface a thin layer of active silicon metal to carbon steel, wherein the active silicon layer is formed through the thermal dissociation of silicon nitride(Si3N4) into silicon(Si) and nitrogen gas(N2). The active silicon layer is directly joined to carbon steel via an induced eutectic melting reaction between the silicon (Si) an iron (Fe) of carbon steel, or via brazing of two materials Ag—Cu alloys. This joining process does not require the use of expensive Ag—Cu—Ti active brazing alloys containing an active metal (Ti) or a sputtering method designed to coat the active metals on surface of silicon nitride.

A timing controller to reduce a flicker in a display device is provided. The timing controller includes a line pattern detector and a frame pattern detector. The line pattern detector divides received data into a plurality of unit blocks and detects a line polarity of each of a plurality of horizontal lines included in each of the unit blocks. The frame pattern detector generates a polarity control signal to control a data inversion method based on a frame image pattern detected based on line polarities of the respective horizontal lines.

At least one selection plane is formed by the control volume unit as a reference plane to select at least one 2D slice image from the 3D ultrasound image. The processor is configured to extract at least one 2D slice image corresponding to the at least one selection plane from the 3D ultrasound image. The 3D ultrasound image or the at least one selection plane are rotated and/or moved together with the control volume unit.
