Abstract:
A system and method for controlling one or more devices in the vicinity of a user based on biometric of the user and a target user state. The system and method determines the target state, which is characterized by biometric measurements, through either a user entered command or a prediction based on historic user entered commands. Using biometric readings of the user as feedback, the one or more devices are controlled to cause the biometrics of the user to change towards the target state.
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for providing alternate product recommendations for one or more users. A user may enter a merchant location or access a merchant service and be presented with one or more alternate product recommendations. The alternate product recommendations may be provided when a service provider server determines that the user is likely to by a certain product and that the user is also likely to return that product. The alternate product recommendations may present the user with a different purchase opportunity, whether different in kind and/or in price, to avoid or minimize the chances that the user will return the product. The alternate product recommendations may satisfy the user and lower the cost of returns to the merchant.
Abstract:
A system, a medium, and a method involve a communication interface of a server device that receives activity data associated with an activity of an account, where the activity data includes a payment request for a transaction between a user of the account and a merchant. A processor of the server device determines a location associated with the payment request based at least on the activity data. An authentication component of the server device accesses prior authenticated requests of the account. The authentication component determines a prior authenticated request of the account based at least on the location and a time period. The authentication component determines an authentication of the payment request based at least on the prior authenticated request and an authentication input. A transceiver of the communication interface transmits an indication of the authentication to a client device.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for providing information to a user are described. Multiple mobile devices can individually collect data and feed the data to beacons in a location. The information can include sound data, light data, motion data, health and wellness related data, humidity data, and/or temperature data. The beacons receive this data from multiple users and transmit it to a service provider. The service provider collects the data from the beacons and provides the data to one or more users.
Abstract:
A system, a medium, and a method are provided to send compensation data to devices at one or more locations where the data is retrievable. For example, a communication interface of a server device accesses request data, where the request data includes an indication of one or more locations where a compensation amount is retrievable. A compensation data component generates compensation data based on the indication of the one or more locations where the compensation amount is retrievable. A location component determines a location of a client device that corresponds to the one or more locations. A transceiver transmits the compensation data to the client device based on the determined location of the client device that corresponds to the one or more locations.
Abstract:
A system, a medium, and a method are provided to send soft recommendations to one or more devices. For example, a communication interface of a server device accesses request data generated by a first user account, where the request data includes soft recommend data intended for a second user account. A soft recommend component of the server device generates graphic data and determines one or more locations or display configurations of the second user account to provide the graphic data based on an estimated interest in the graphic data. An account management engine of the server device uploads the graphic data to the second user account based on the one or more locations of the second user account determined to provide the graphic data. A transceiver of the communication interface that transmits the uploaded graphic data to a client device enabled to access the second user account.
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for detect tags to determine perishability of food items. A merchant may utilize detector tags on, attached to, or otherwise associated with perishable items to detect conditions of the perishable items. For example, the detector tags may determine chemical properties, ambient light levels, temperatures, or other conditions for or around the perishable items. The conditions may be communicated by the tags to a user's device or the merchant's device. Where the conditions indicate that one or more of the perishable items are ready for consumption, the user may be alerted of a state of the perishable item, such as ready or ripe. The user may further be informed of where to find the perishable item in the merchant's location. However, if the perishable item has gone bad, the user and/or merchant may be warned about the item to prevent health issues.
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for remote monitoring of tagged physical objects in an emergency. A user may set up a series of beacons at a facility of the user, such as an office or hospital. The beacons may connect to tag devices as the devices enter a coverage area for the wireless beacons or upon request by a service provider server in an emergency situation. The beacons communicate distance information regarding the tag devices and associated physical objects to a service provider server. The service provider server may determine the location of a physical object and provides the location to the user or to emergency personnel. In an emergency, the service provider server may provide a notification to a specific subset of users, in which the notification includes the location of a physical object of interest to the subset of users because of the emergency condition.
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for wireless beacon devices providing crosswalk management through communication device connections. A user may travel with a device, such as a communication device, that includes a communication module that may utilize specialized hardware features to establish short range wireless communications with nearby wireless beacons. The wireless beacons may be established at or nearby crosswalk locations. The beacon may provide the aforementioned communication services with the communication device and be utilized to triangulate a position, path of travel, and speed of travel of the user. Calendar, travel route, and other information for the user may also be determined using the beacons. Thus, a crosswalk signal may be changed in anticipation of the user crossing. Further, if the user requires additional time to cross based on triangulating the user's location in the crosswalk, the signal may be further changed based on the user's location.
Abstract:
There are provided systems and methods for delivery confirmation using wireless beacons. A merchant may include a wireless beacon, such as a small token or device, inside of a package for delivery. The beacon may communicate with a user device for a user when the package is delivered to the user. The beacon may include recipient information of eligible recipients for the package. The beacon may receive identification information for the user when the user device connects to the beacon. A delivery person in possession of the package may then determine if the user is an eligible recipient for the package using the recipient information and the identification information. After delivery of the package, the user may reuse the beacon by erasing the recipient information from the beacon and storing new recipient information on the beacon. The user may then place the beacon in another package for delivery.
