A method is provided for customizing scene content, according to a user or a cluster of users, for a given stereoscopic display, including obtaining customization information about the user; obtaining a scene disparity map for a pair of given stereo images and/or a three-dimensional (3D) computer graphic model; and determining an aim disparity range for the user. The method of the present invention also generates a customized disparity map and/or rendering conditions for a three-dimensional (3D) computer graphic model correlating with the user's fusing capability of the given stereoscopic display; and renders or re-renders the stereo images for subsequent display.

A color display device, comprising: an array of subpixels of at least four different colors, including at least two relatively higher luminous color subpixels and at least two relatively lower luminous color subpixels, wherein the subpixels are arranged into groups forming at least two distinct types of pixels, each pixel type including the two relatively higher luminous color subpixels and at least one of the two relatively lower luminous color subpixels, and wherein the pixel types are arranged in a pattern such that the relative locations of the two relatively higher luminous color subpixels in each pixel is repeated in adjacent pixels, and the relative location of at least one of the two relatively lower luminance color subpixels is not repeated in at least one adjacent pixel. Various embodiments of the invention enable color display devices with improved image display quality, with both the appearance of jagged lines and the appearance of banding reduced simultaneously.

The present technology is directed to a dilator centering device and assemblies and methods using same. In particular, a dilator centering device in accordance with the disclosed technology can be used with a sheath hub assembly. In one embodiment, a dilator centering device includes a lumen capable of receiving a dilator shaft and centering a dilator shaft with respect to the sheath hub as the dilator shaft enters the sheath hub. In one embodiment, the dilator centering device can be attached to the sheath hub during manufacturing or it can be attached at the use site. In one embodiment, the dilator centering device can be integrated with and non-removable from the sheath hub. The embodiments disclosed herein are illustrative and do not limit the scope and spirit of the disclosed technology.
