    摘要: An arrangement and method for driving a turbomachine having a rotor is provided. The arrangement includes an input shaft rotationally coupled to the rotor. A motor generator device has a motor mode of operation and a generator mode of operation. A differential gear device having a first portion rotationally coupled to the input shaft and a second portion rotationally coupled to the motor generator device. A hydraulic assembly is rotationally coupled between the differential gear and the input shaft. The hydraulic assembly has a plurality of pistons and a pair of wobbler plates. A controller is operably coupled to the input shaft, the motor generator device and the hydraulic assembly, wherein the controller includes a processor that is responsive to executable instructions when executed on the processor for moving the pair of wobbler plates to a first position during a motor mode of operation.

    摘要: A generator includes a rotor to be driven to rotate and generate electricity and a housing receiving the rotor. An oil supply includes an oil inlet port and an oil outlet port. A pressure regulating valve regulates the flow of oil from the inlet port to the outlet port. The pressure regulating valve includes a valve sleeve mounted within the housing. The valve sleeve extends into a bore within the housing. A valve spool is mounted within the valve sleeve. The valve sleeve has a flange abutting an outer face of the housing. Bolts tighten the flange against the housing. An inner end of the valve sleeve extends radially inwardly to form a ledge. The ledge is spaced away from an inner face of the housing. A valve sleeve, a sense piston and a valve spool are also disclosed and claimed.

    摘要: A wedge placed between adjacent coils in a generator comprises a wedge body having a generally triangular portion to be positioned at a radially inner location, and a radially outer portion. The radially outer portion includes ends that will be spaced at axial ends of the wedge when the wedge is positioned within a generator. The ends have a first surface spaced a first distance from an apex of the triangle. The end walls extend above the first surface at each of two spaced positions axially inwardly of the ends of the wedge. The end walls are connected to side walls that extend near circumferential edges of the wedge. An open pocket is formed within the wedge body at locations between the side walls and axially between the end walls.
