Said multimeric conjugates have a longer life time in vivo and an increased avidity compared to the unmodified biologically agent. The novel dimeric binding proteins comprise a combination of amino acid substitutions and at least one insertion of amino acids in one of the monomers. The invention is further directed to the use of said proteins in medical diagnosis or treatment methods.
