Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for subculturing pluripotent stem cells suitable for mass culture. The method for subculturing pluripotent stem cells includes: a culture step of culturing pluripotent stem cells to obtain a cell aggregation; and a dividing step of dividing the cell aggregation by passing the cell aggregation through a mesh-like film, which has a plurality of through-holes each having an opening dimension of 30 μm to 80 μm, at a speed of 15 cm/sec to 150 cm/sec.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a transportation instrument and a transportation method that enable transportation by using a cell culture container as it is. According to the present invention, provided is a cell preservation or transportation instrument including a plurality of cell storage containers, a plate which has a plurality of recesses for holding the plurality of cell storage containers therein, and a flexible material sheet which seals upper opening portions of the plurality of cell storage containers and upper side wall portions formed by side walls of the recesses of the plate and allows ventilation between an inside and an outside of the plurality of cell storage containers.

Abstract: A culture container has a first inflow port and a first outflow port. The first flow path connects the first outflow port to the first inflow port. A storage container is provided within the first flow path and has a second inflow port which is connected to the first outflow port and a second outflow port which is connected to the first inflow port. A second flow path connects a first region within the first flow path, and a second region within the first flow path. A division processing portion is provided within the second flow path, performs a division process of dividing a cell aggregation flowing in from the first flow path, and allows the cells subjected to the division process to flow out into the first flow path via the second region. A medium supply portion supplies a medium to the inside of the first flow path.

Abstract: Provided is a composite binder material, a cell aggregate, a cell accumulation method, a cell preservation method, and a method of manufacturing a composite binder that can supply oxygen and nutrients to cells.A composite binder material comprises a binder material and a cell non-adhesive portion. A binder material formed in a membrane shape is provided between a first cell sheet and a second cell sheet. The cell non-adhesive portion formed at least in a portion of one membrane surface and/or other membrane surface of the binder material. A plurality of pores are formed in the binder material, and the pores open to the one membrane surface coming into contact with one sheet surface of the first cell sheet. The pores penetrate in a thickness direction and a surface direction along the one membrane surface. The porosity of the binder material is set to be at least 50%.
