There is provided a method capable of manufacturing a mold at low cost, and a method of manufacturing a biocompatible pattern sheet by using the mold. The method of manufacturing a mold having a recessed pattern includes the steps of: forming a silicone resin film by applying a silicone resin solution to a surface of a model having a protrusion pattern; defoaming the silicone resin film by reducing the silicone resin film in pressure; forming the mold by heating and curing the silicone resin film while a base plate is in contact with a face of the silicone resin film, the face being opposite to the model; and releasing the mold from the model after releasing the base plate. The method of manufacturing a pattern sheet uses the mold.

A method for manufacturing a member to be treated includes: a first bonding step of bonding a member to be treated containing metal oxide and a first support to each other with a first adhesive layer; a first surface processing step of forming a first processed surface on the member to be treated; a first surface contact step of bringing a support having adhesiveness, an adsorption support which adsorbs the member to be treated, or a second adhesive layer, into contact with the first processed surface; a second bonding step of bonding the member to be treated and a second support with the second adhesive layer; and a second surface processing step of forming a second processed surface on a rear surface of the first processed surface of the member to be treated. In a case where the support having adhesiveness or the adsorption support and the first processed surface are in contact with each other, the support having adhesiveness or the adsorption support is removed in the first surface contact step. A first adhesive layer removing step of removing the first adhesive layer from the member to be treated is included between the first surface contact step and the second surface processing step.

A method of manufacturing a needle-like array sheet includes supplying a first needle-like array-forming solution consisting of an aqueous solution on a first mold having a first recess; interrupting drying in a wet state and forming a needle-like distal end part; supplying a second needle-like array-forming solution consisting of an aqueous solution on a second mold having a second recess; peeling a sheet part molding product, which is dried and solidified and has a protrusion corresponding to the second recess, after the sheet part molding product is formed; inserting the protrusion of the sheet part molding product into the first recess of the first mold; drying and solidifying the needle-like distal end part and the sheet part molding product after inserting the protrusion, bonding the needle-like distal end part and the protrusion of the sheet part molding product together, and forming a needle-like array sheet having the needle-like array.

Provided is a manufacturing method of a pattern sheet having excellent productivity at low costs. The manufacturing method of a pattern sheet includes: a process of producing, using a plate precursor having a protruding pattern formed thereon, a plurality of first molds having a recessed shape, which is an inverted shape of the protruding pattern, from a resin; a process of producing a plurality of metallic electroforms having the protruding pattern formed thereon by electroforming using the first mold; a process of producing a plurality of second molds having a recessed shape, which is an inverted shape of the protruding pattern, from a resin using the electroform; and a process of producing pattern sheets and having a protruding pattern formed thereon using the second mold.

Provided is a method of producing a transdermal absorption sheet using an electroforming mold. A method of manufacturing an electroforming mold includes preparing a mold which is a matrix having a recessed pattern, immersing the mold in a degassed pretreatment liquid stored in a pretreatment liquid tank, then applying ultrasound waves generated from an ultrasound oscillator to the recessed pattern of the mold, and filling recessed portions constituting the recessed pattern with the pretreatment liquid. By immersing the mold in an electroforming tank and performing an electroforming treatment, an electroforming mold is manufactured. A mold having a recessed pattern is manufactured from the electroforming mold and a transdermal absorption sheet is produced using the mold.

A molding compact for forming a transdermal absorption sheet on which a needle-shaped protruding part is arranged is a molding compact that is a laminate of: a first member having a needle-shaped recessed part formed on a front surface thereof, the needle-shaped recessed part being an inverse of the needle-shaped protruding part; a second member provided on a back surface of the first member, the second member being composed of a waterproof and moisture-permeable material; and a third member provided on a back surface of the second member, the third member being composed of a rigid body. Provided are a molding compact that makes it possible to prevent leakage of a drug-containing solution filled into the needle-shaped recessed part, and a manufacturing method for a transdermal absorption sheet using the molding compact.

The production method of a mold includes: a step of preparing an electroform having a protruding pattern and a mold having a first mold and a second mold forming a cavity; a step of fixing the electroform excluding an end portion of the electroform to the first mold; a clamping step of clamping the electroform excluding the end portion of the electroform and a region of the protruding pattern between the first mold and the second mold to form the cavity; and an injection step of filling the cavity with a resin.

A production method of a mold includes: preparing a plate precursor having a protruding pattern formed of protrusions in a pattern presence region on a base, and a thermoplastic resin sheet; determining a position at which the plate precursor is to be pressed against the thermoplastic resin sheet by moving the plate precursor and the thermoplastic resin sheet relative to each other; and forming a recessed pattern on the thermoplastic resin sheet by pressing the protrusions of the plate precursor which is heated against the thermoplastic resin sheet at a position where a part of the pattern presence region of the plate precursor excluding the protrusions is separated from a surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet, cooling the plate precursor in a state in where the pressed protrusions and the thermoplastic resin sheet are in contact with each other, and separating the plate precursor from the thermoplastic resin sheet.

A method is provided which enables a drug to be concentrated at needle-like protruding portions and which further allows transdermal-absorption sheets to be manufactured at high production efficiency. The method repeats a step of feeding a drug-containing solution from a liquid feeding apparatus to a mold and filling needle-like recessed portions with the drug-containing solution through a nozzle aligned over the needle-like recessed portions in a state where the nozzle and a front surface of the mold are brought into contact with each other, and a step of moving the liquid feeding apparatus relative to the mold in a state where the nozzle and the front surface of the mold are brought into contact with each other. Thus, the two-dimensionally arranged needle-like recessed portions are filled with the drug-containing solution.

A needle array transdermal absorption sheet to be attached onto a skin for supplying a drug into the skin, includes: a plurality of needle portions each having a tapered shape, each of the needle portions including a needle having a conical or pyramidal shape and a body part which has a columnar shape and whose end surface is connected to a base of the needle; a sheet portion having a flat-plate shape; and a plurality of frustum portions each having a frustum shape, the frustum portions which are arranged on a surface of the sheet portion in a manner that perimeters of larger bases of adjacent frustum portions are in contact with each other on the surface of the sheet portion, and smaller bases of which are respectively connected to the body parts of the needle portions.
