摘要： Problems, which occur when printing is performed on the surface of a rotating disk using by using a print head arranged in the outer circumferential direction from the center of rotation, are resolved. Light emitting sections performs exposure in synchronism with rotational driving for rotating a medium, and pixels which are adjacent in the circumferential direction of rotation are exposed in a partially superimposed fashion by making the amount of movement in the circumferential direction along which the outermost circumference of the medium moves between exposures smaller than the width in the circumferential direction of the pixels formed by exposure. In a plurality of light emitting sections provided in an optical unit, the quantity of light for exposing a pixel on the inner circumferential side in the radial direction is set to be smaller than the quantity of light for exposing a pixel on the outer circumferential side in the radial direction for the respective exposure positions for the medium. Therefore, difference in the tonal shading caused by superposition is reduced by lowering the density created by each exposure in respect of the pixels on the inner circumferential side in the radial direction where there is a large overlap between exposures.

An image formation device that forms an image by developing a color development layer reacting to a light comprises a color development unit that develops colors by focusing a light on the color development layer, color erasure units that selectively erase the developed colors by focusing a light on the developed color development layer, and a fixing unit that fixes an image formed by the color erasure wherein the color development unit and/or the fixing unit performs processing in a period in which information is recorded on the recording medium on which the color development layer is provided.

摘要： A type setting device for printers, comprising a drive motor, a drive gear mounted on a rotary shaft and rotated by the drive motor, a type wheel having a plurality of type elements and rotatably mounted on the rotary shaft, a first spring clutch interposed between the drive gear and the rotary shaft, a ratchet gear fixedly mounted on the rotary shaft and selectively stopped to control the first spring clutch, and a second spring clutch adapted to prevent the rotary shaft from being rotated reversely with respect to the rotation of the drive gear. The drive gear can thus be kept rotating at all times so that it is unnecessary that the motor be started and stopped every time a character is printed. This allows a high-speed type selection and high-speed printing.

摘要： A printer includes a drive claw associated with a printing wheel and having a projection engageable with axial, circumferential grooves of a drive shaft. The printing wheel is linked to and rotated by the drive shaft when the projection of the drive claw engages one of the grooves. However, during type selection, a selection claw engages teeth of a selection ratchet to stop the rotation of same, so that when an engagement means of the selection ratchet engages the drive claw, the projection of the drive claw disengages from the groove of the drive shaft, so as to detach the rotation transmitting relationship between the drive shaft and the printing wheel.

摘要： A compact-size and light-weight serial printer system for a desk-top calculator or a small electronic device. It uses an endless printing belt adapted to be circulated and carrying a number of printing fonts. A carriage on which the hammer mechanism provided is slidably mounted and a rack shaft are positioned within the inner side of the endless printing belt. A reference position detection means is provided to generate trigger signals, for detecting the reference position on the endless printing belt, for initiating printing operations, and for selecting a desired printing font in conjunction with processings by the control section to calculate a movement distance of the endless printing belt. A single driving source is provided to drive each mechanism of the printer system. On the endless printing belt, the fonts which have lower frequency of usage are included in a single section, and those fonts which have higher frequency of usage are included in several sections.
