    摘要: Hydrophilic coatings are obtained by applying to a substrate a composition containing an aqueous soluble organopolysiloxane which is capable of being crosslinked by the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen atoms to SiC-bonded aliphatic multiple bonds, and having at least one oxyalkylene unit bonded to a silicon atom and an aqueous soluble catalyst which promotes the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen atoms to the SiC-bonded aliphatic multiple bonds and thereafter crosslinking the organopolysiloxane by the addition of the Si-bonded hydrogen atoms to the SiC-bonded aliphatic multiple bonds to form a hydrophilic coating on the substrate. The aqueous soluble organopolysiloxane may be obtained from a mixture consisting of equal parts of a mixed hydrolysate, prepared from 1.7 moles of dimethyldichlorosilane, 1 mole of [acetoxy-(hexaethyleneoxy)propyl]-methyldichlorosilane and 0.3 mole of vinylmethyldichlorosilane, and a mixed hydrolysate prepared from 1 mole of dimethyldichlorosilane, 1 mole of [acetoxy(hexaethyleneoxy)-propyl]-methyl-dichlorosilane and 1 mole of methyldichlorosilane.

    摘要: Organopolysiloxanes having the formulasA.sub.x R.sub.3-x SiO(SiR.sub.2-x A.sub.x O).sub.n SiR.sub.3-x A.sub.xor(SiR.sub.2-x A.sub.x O).sub.y,where R is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical or a halogenated monovalent hydrocarbon radical or a monovalent aliphatic radical consisting of carbon, hydrogen, ether oxygen and fluorine atoms; A is a SiC-bonded organic radical containing a carboxyl group and a carbonyl group to which is bonded an organic radical having at least one terminal carbon-carbon double bond; n is an integer having a value of at least 1; x is 0 or 1; and y is an integer having a value of from 3 to 10, in which the organopolysiloxanes contain at least one radical represented by A per molecule.These organopolysiloxanes are preferably prepared by reacting organopolysiloxanes having the above formulas, in which the radical A is hydrogen, with, for example, allylsuccinic anhydride, and thereafter reacting the resultant organopolysiloxanes, which contain carboxylic acid anhydride groups, with, for example, a hydroxyethyl acrylate.The organopolysiloxanes can be crosslinked, for example, by ultraviolet light, and may be used in the preparation of coatings or for embedding electronic components.

    摘要: Organosilyl carbonates, such as bis(trimethylsilyl)carbonate, are prepared by reacting an organohalosilane with an alkali bicarbonate in the presence of an amine and/or a phosphine and an aprotic solvent, preferably a polar solvent which is inert to the reactants. The resultant mixture is separated from the ammonium halide and/or phosphonium halide and the organosilyl carbonate is recovered from the halide-free mixture.

    摘要: Organopolysiloxanes which are crosslinked by high energy radiation consisting essentially of siloxane units of the formulas:(a) HR.sup.1 C.dbd.CR.sup.2 COOR.sup.3 SiR.sub.2 O.sub.1/2,(b) HSR.sup.4 SiRO and(c) R.sub.2.sup.5 SiOwhere R is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical or a halogenated monovalent hydrocarbon radical, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or a phenyl radical or a halogenated phenyl radical, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or an alkyl radical having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms per radical and R.sup.3 is a hydrocarbon radical or a halogenated hydrocarbon radical, R.sup.4 is a divalent hydrocarbon radical, R.sup.5 is the same as R or a hydrocarbon radical substituted with the HR.sup.1 C.dbd.CR.sup.2 COO group, where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same as above, in which two siloxane units of the formulaHR.sup.1 C.dbd.CR.sup.2 COOR.sup.3 SiR.sub.2 O.sub.1/2are present per molecule. These organopolysiloxanes are prepared by equilibrating the corresponding siloxanes in accordance with the conventional methods known in the art.These organopolysiloxanes can be crosslinked by high energy radiation, for example, ultraviolet radiation, to form coatings on paper for releasing tacky substances or as coatings on optic fibers and as photocuring sealants for electronic components.

    摘要: Organopolysiloxanes having SiC-bonded oxyalkylene units and Si-bonded hydroxyl groups, in which an average of at least 15 mol percent of the siloxane units contain only one SiC-bonded monovalent organic radical and the silicon valences which are not satisfied by the SiC-bonded monovalent organic radical are satisfied by siloxane oxygen atoms or oxygen atoms of hydroxyl groups. These organopolysiloxanes are preferably prepared by reacting triorganosiloxy end-blocked organopolysiloxanes consisting of diorganosiloxane units, in which at least part of these units contain SiC-bonded oxyalkylene units and, if appropriate, organohydrogensiloxane units or organohydroxyl siloxane units or organoalkoxysiloxane units of mixtures of at least two such monoorganosiloxy units with water in the presence of an acid or base or, and subsequently with a silane or simultaneously with water and a silane in which the silane contains one SiC-bonded monovalent organic radical, or partially hydrolyzed products of the silane. The new organopolysiloxanes are applied to textile fibers to impart hydrophilic properties thereto.

    摘要: Organopolysiloxane compositions that are crosslinked by ultraviolet light comprising (A) an organopolysiloxane having units of the formulaHR.sup.1 C=CR.sup.2 COOR.sup.3 SiR.sub.2 O.sub.1/2,in which at least two such siloxane units are present per molecule of organopolysiloxane (A) and at least 80 percent of the number of the remaining siloxane units in organopolysiloxane (A) comprise units of the formulaR.sub.2 SiO,where R is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical or a halogenated monovalent hydrocarbon radical, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or a halogenated phenyl radical, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or an alkyl radical having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms per radical and R.sup.3 is a divalent hydrocarbon radical or a halogenated divalent hydrocarbon radical, in which the organopolysiloxane (A) has an average viscosity of from 20 to 5000 mPa.s at 25.degree. C., and (C) a photosensitizer, in which Si-bonded hydroxy groups that are present in units of the formulaR.sub.2 SiOare present in an amount which does not exceed 0.2 hydroxy groups per group of the formulaHR.sub.1 C=CR.sup.2 COOR.sup.3 --,and a total of at most 0.02 percent by weight, based on the total weight of the organopolysiloxane (A), organopolysiloxane (B) and photosensitizer (C), of organic titanium or organic tin compounds are present in the compositions. These crosslinkable compositions are useful for encapsulating electronic components.
