摘要: A battery control system connected to a battery, which controls charge/discharge at the battery, includes: a current detection unit that measures a current value by detecting a charge/discharge current flowing through the battery; a voltage detection unit that detects a voltage at the battery; a temperature detection unit that detects a temperature at the battery; a temperature history recording unit that records temperature history pertaining to the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit; and a charge/discharge restriction unit that restricts the charge/discharge current in a low-temperature state based upon the temperature history recorded by the temperature history recording unit.

摘要: A battery control system connected to a battery, which controls charge/discharge at the battery, includes: a current detection unit that measures a current value by detecting a charge/discharge current flowing through the battery; a voltage detection unit that detects a voltage at the battery; a temperature detection unit that detects a temperature at the battery; an effective current value calculation unit that calculates, based upon the current value measured by the current detection unit, an effective current value in a predetermined time window; and a charge/discharge restriction unit that imposes a first charge/discharge restriction so as to restrict the charge/discharge current based upon the effective current value calculated by the effective current value calculation unit.

摘要: A battery control system connected to a battery, which controls charge/discharge at the battery, includes: a current detection unit that measures a current value by detecting a charge/discharge current flowing through the battery; a voltage detection unit that detects a voltage at the battery; a temperature detection unit that detects a temperature at the battery; an effective current value calculation unit that calculates, based upon the current value measured by the current detection unit, an effective current value in a predetermined time window; a time ratio calculation unit that determines a time ratio indicating a ratio of a length of time over which the effective current value has been in excess of a predetermined allowable value during a predetermined specified time period; and a charge/discharge restriction unit that restricts the charge/discharge current based upon the time ratio determined by the time ratio calculation unit.

摘要: A battery pack cooling system includes a plurality of cells disposed in an internal space of a battery pack case so as to form a cooling passage configured to cool the cell modules by cooling air flowing in the cooling passage. A first temperature sensor is a minimum temperature sensor disposed in the upstream position which becomes a lowest temperature. A second temperature sensor is a maximum temperature sensor disposed in the downstream position which becomes a highest temperature. A third temperature sensor is configured to measure the temperature of either the highest temperature or the lowest temperature disposed in a second cell module. A cooling passage includes a cooling air inlet passage, a cooling air exhaust passage, and a plurality of cooling branch passages disposed to connect the cooling air inlet passage and the cooling air exhaust passage in parallel.

摘要: A battery control system connected to a battery equipped with an explosion-proofing mechanism for cutting off an electric current when the battery enters an overcharge state, including: a cell voltage detection unit that detects voltage at the battery; a storage unit that stores information pertaining to the battery conditions; an overcharge decision-making unit that makes a decision as to whether or not the battery is in an overcharge state; a storage control unit that engages the storage unit to store information pertaining to the overcharge state when the overcharge decision-making unit decides that the battery is in an overcharge state; and an explosion-proofing decision-making unit that decides that the explosion-proofing mechanism in the battery has actuated if the overcharge information is stored in the storage unit and the cell voltage detected by the cell voltage detection unit is lower than a predetermined lower limit value.

A maximum temperature sensor is disposed in the downstream position which becomes a highest temperature region in the first cell module. Another temperature sensor is disposed in a second cell module to measure the temperature of either the highest temperature or the lowest temperature in the second cell module.

摘要: A capacity ratio estimation apparatus and method for a battery detects current and voltage of the battery; specifies an integration period from a first time point to a second time point and calculates an integration value of the current for the integration period based on detected current; calculates a first open circuit voltage at the first time point based on the detected voltage and calculates a second open circuit voltage of the battery at the second time point based on the detected voltage; and estimates a capacity ratio of the battery based on a voltage difference between the first open circuit voltage and the second open circuit voltage and an integration value satisfying predetermined conditions. The integration value is equal to a predetermined lower limit value or greater and an average value of the current of the battery for the integration period is equal to the predetermined value or greater.
