Abstract: A packet processing method in a computing system is disclosed. The computing system comprises a host, wherein at least one network interface card is connected to the host. The network interface card includes switching equipment and at least two network ports. A first network port is corresponding to at least one physical function PF and multiple virtual functions VFs. At least one VF of the first network port is provided for a first virtual machine on the host in a passthrough manner. The first virtual machine sends a data packet from the VF that is connected to the first virtual machine. Switching equipment of the first network port forwards the data packet according to a destination MAC address of the data packet, and sends the data packet to a virtual bridge on VMM of the host. The VMM provides abundant network function processing for the data packet.

Abstract: Embodiments of application provide a node interconnection apparatus, and a method implemented by the node interconnection apparatus. The node interconnection apparatus includes a computing node and a resource control node, and a device interconnection interface connecting the two. Each of the computing node and the resource control node includes a processing unit and a storage unit, and the resource control node further includes a resource interface for connecting with a network storage device. The resource control node manages storage resource of the network storage device, and when the computing node needs started up, the resource control node obtains operating system startup information from the network storage device and provide the information to the computing node. The computing node can start up without the need for storing startup information locally. Therefore, storage resource inside the computing node is saved.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a resource management technology that may be applied to a host, where the host includes a CPU, an endpoint connected to the CPU, and an I/O device connected to the endpoint. A method includes: allocating, by the CPU, a target endpoint to a target process, where a virtual device is disposed on the target endpoint; obtaining, by the target endpoint, a performance specification of the target process, and adjusting a performance parameter of the virtual device according to the performance specification, where the adjusted virtual device satisfies requirements of performance specifications of all processes that use the target endpoint; and when the target process needs to access a resource, obtaining, from the I/O device, a resource that satisfies the performance specification of the target process, and providing the obtained resource to the target process for use.

Abstract: A device assembly system includes a control apparatus, a mobile apparatus, a lifting apparatus, and a plug in/out apparatus. The control apparatus is configured to control, based on an operation and maintenance instruction, the mobile apparatus, the lifting apparatus, and the plug in/out apparatus to complete an operation of the operation and maintenance instruction. The mobile apparatus is configured to move the device assembly system to a first location, and the first location identifies a rack in which a device is assembled. The lifting apparatus is configured to move the plug in/out apparatus to a target location in a first direction. The plug in/out apparatus is configured to place the device to be assembled at the target location, or obtain the device from the target location.

Abstract: A packet processing method in a cloud computing system is disclosed. The cloud computing system includes a host and a cloud management platform. At least one network interface card is connected to the host. The at least one network interface card includes at least three network ports. A first virtual machine running on the host sends a data packet to a second network port through a first network port using a network cable between the first and the second network port. The second network port sends the data packet to a virtual machine monitor (VMM) of the host for performing network function processing. The data packet is then sent to a second virtual machine via a third network port of the host after the network function processing.

Abstract: A method for backing up data in a data center, device and system are provided. The data in all the VMs of one data center can be backed up simultaneously, and the associations between the VMs are also backed up during the backup, so it is unnecessary to concern the recovery orders of the VMs when the data of the data center is recovered. Meanwhile, when the stored data is exported from the hypervisor node, it is unnecessary to notify the upper layer OS for a backup, thereby improving the data backup efficiency and reducing the system logical complexity.
