    摘要: A vehicle seat includes a seat part displaceable at least in the seat longitudinal direction; a back rest that is held on the seat part; and an adjustable head restraint held on the back rest and having a head cushion. For automatically adapting the head restraint correctly in terms of safety to seat adjustments carried out by a seat user, a medium reservoir of variable volume, communicating with a filling and discharge device, is integrated in the head cushion so that the cushion front face is shifted forwards during an increase in volume and is drawn back again as a result of a reduction in volume. The filling quantity introduced into the medium reservoir or drawn off from the medium reservoir is controlled depending on the seat setting by means of a control unit. The medium reservoir also may include a pressure limiter that allows a controlled outflow of the reservoir when a predetermined pressure value, caused by the impact of the head, is reached.

    摘要: A hydraulic twin-circuit brake system for a road vehicle with front axle/rear axle brake circuit division, is equipped both with an anti-lock brake system (ABS) and an acceleration skid regulation device (ASR) which operates on the principle of slowing down a driven vehicle wheel tending to spin by activating its wheel brake. A brake pressure control device analogous to the acceleration skid regulation device is also provided for the brake circuit of the non-driven front wheels of the vehicle. This brake pressure control device, together with the acceleration skid regulation device for the driven rear wheels of the vehicle, is activated in the sense of an automatic brake pressure control when the driver actuates the brake pedal at a rate which is larger than a specified threshold value .phi..sub.s. The brake pressure is then automatically controlled such that optimum vehicle deceleration occurs. Buffer reservoirs which are connected to the outlet pressure spaces of the brake unit, instead of to the wheel brakes, during automatic braking achieve a pedal displacement simulation by way of which an electronic control unit recognizes the vehicle deceleration which the driver wishes to select by the brake pedal actuation.

    摘要: A method of determining a set value of the assisting force in a power steering system reduces the assisting force in the power steering system as a function of the steering angular velocity (LWG). An estimate of the general driving situation with respect to the cornering force taking place by a variable representing a set value (a.sub.yset) of the lateral acceleration is derived from the steering angle (LW), by determining a variable representing the lateral acceleration (a.sub.y) and by deriving a critical driving state from a deviation of the variable representing the lateral acceleration (a.sub.y) from the variable representing the set value (a.sub.yset) of the lateral acceleration above a threshold value. The reduction of the assisting force in the power steering system as a function of the steering angular velocity LWG takes place only as long as the critical driving state is detected.
