    摘要: A polyalkylene terephthalate-series resin (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate-series resin, polybutylene terephthalate-series resin) is improved in flame retardancy by using a flame retardant containing a phosphazene compound and a phenolic resin. The phosphazene compound is a compound shown by the following formulae (1) and/ or (2), and/or a compound being the above compound crosslinked with a phenylene group or a crosslinking group shown by the following formula (3a). The proportion of the phosphazene compound to the phenolic resin is the former/the latter=5/95 to 95/5 (weight ratio). By means of the above flame retardant, a polyalkylene terephthalate-series resin can be highly improved in flame retardancy without deteriorating the properties. Further, by adding the other flame retardant (e.g., a nitrogen-containing flame retardant, a phosphate-series flame retardant), and a carbonizable resin, the flame retardancy can be enhanced. Mechanical Property In accordance with ASTM D-638 and ASTM D-790, the mechanical strength was determined with use of a test piece obtained by injection molding.

    摘要: A resin composition formed by mixing 99 to 70 weight % of specific whole aromatic polyesteramide liquid crystal resin (A) with 1 to 30 weight % of epoxy modified polyolefin-base resin (B) and by melting and kneading both of the resins, wherein the resin composition having a melt viscosity of 60 to 4000 Pa·s at a shear rate of 1000/second at a temperature which is 20° C. higher than the melting point and having a melt tension of 20 mN or more at a take-over speed of 14.8 m/minute, is melt within a temperature range of a melting point to the melting point +40° C., a parison (P) is formed by extruding it with an extrusion speed equal to or higher than 0.3 kg/minute and lower than 5 kg/minute, a pair of moldings placed so as to sandwich the parison (P) are closed at a predetermined mold closing pressure, and air is blown into the parison (P).

    摘要: Moldable polyester resin compositions and molded articles therefrom include, based on the total weight of all resin components:(A) between 2 to 98% by weight of a compatibilizing metal sulfonate group-containing aromatic polyester copolymer which is the polycondensation reaction product of (a) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its ester-forming derivative, (b) a diol compound or its ester-forming derivative, and (c) an ester-forming compound containing a metal sulfonate group;(B) between 2 to 98% by weight of an additive resin which is one of (B-I) an olefin copolymer which is the copolymerization reaction product between an olefin with at least one of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative and a vinyl alcohol or its ester, and (B-II) a polyamide resin; and, optionally(C) between 0 to 96% by weight of a non-compatibilizing aromatic polyester resin.The ester-forming compound containing a metal sulfonate group is preferably incorporated into the main polymer chain of the compatibilizing aromatic polyester resin in an amount between 0.01 to 15 molar percent.

    摘要: A teaching playback swing-phase-controlled above-knee prosthesis has a thigh frame, a leg frame, an air cylinder interconnecting the thigh and leg frames and provided with adjusting means for adjusting the degree of opening the valve of the air cylinder to a plurality of degrees respectively for a plurality of walking speeds selected during trial walking. A mode selecting switch has positions respectively for setting degrees of opening of the valve of the air cylinder in a teaching mode and for a playback mode in which one of the degrees of opening is selected according to an actual walking speed. An opening detector detects the degree of opening of the valve of the air cylinder. An opening storage device for stores a plurality of set degrees of opening of the valve of the air cylinder. A phase detector detects swing phases and stance phases, walking speed detector determines an actual walking speed, and control unit adjusts the degree of opening of the valve of the air cylinder to one of the set degrees of opening corresponding to the actual walking speed. The teaching playback swing-phase-controlled above-knee prosthesis is capable of automatically controlling the speed of swing motion of the leg frame according to the actual walking speed of the prosthesis wearer.

    摘要: A flame-retarding polyester composition is useful for coating an electric wire, which comprises a melt-mixture of, (A) a copolyester having a halogen content of 0.5 to 30 wt. % and (B) a branched copolymer prepared by the condensation polymerization of monomers mainly comprising(a)' a component mainly comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof,(b)' a component mainly comprising an aliphatic glycol or an ester-forming derivative thereof and(d) a branching compound, which contains 0.001 to 0.5 molar % (based on the total amount of the carbonyl groups of the copolyester) of said branching compound (d).
