摘要： An apparatus for detecting whether or not the leads of electronic components such as dual in-line package type IC components have been properly inserted into printed circuit boards and also for properly clinching the projecting portions of the leads to the rear side of the boards. The apparatus comprises a pair of openable or closable lever main bodies, levers pivotably supported on the lever main bodies by pins disposed at right angles with the opening or closing direction to come into contact with the leads to be detected, elastic members for delivering a lever main body closing force to the levers, and photoelectric means mounted on the lever main bodies for detecting the movement of the levers relative to the lever main bodies.

摘要： A component inserting apparatus for inserting electrical and electronic components into printed circuit boards includes a chuck element for gripping a body portion of a component having a plurality of lead wires extending outwardly therefrom in the same direction, an insertion guide member which contacts outer sides of each of the lead wires so as to regulate the lead wires to be positioned at predetermined positions, thereby to guide the lead wires into corresponding openings formed in the circuit board, a vertically movable guide shaft member for rotatably supporting the insertion guide member, and an insertion shaft member coupled with the chuck element so as to be movable in the same direction as the guide shaft member and also relatively with respect to the guide shaft member.

摘要： An apparatus for automatically mounting electronic components on printed circuit boards has an insertion head which is adapted to rotate on an engaging shaft within a rotary bearing and be guided in the extent of rotation by means of a steel ball. Only the engaging shaft rotates and the position from which the components are supplied to the insertion head is stationary, the space needed for the inserting apparatus can be kept small. The bearing can be changed or the position of the bearing changed to change the insertion angle of the component relative to the printed circuit board, thus making possible various arrangements of the components on the circuit board.

摘要： Component mounting method and apparatus in which a plurality of component substrates carrying different components are provided on a common stand movable to bring successive required component substrates to a cut-off and transfer unit which for each component cuts component leads to separate the component from the component substrate and simultaneously grips the leads, thereby supporting the components, then turns and transfers the component to a chuck means forming part of an insertion unit, the component substrate being simultaneously advanced to bring a next component into position for immediate or subsequent cut-off. The chuck means holding the component turns to bring the component leads to a required attitude then releases the component which is inserted into a printed circuit board, for example, component leads being then clinched by a separate clincher unit.
