    摘要: A scanning probe microscope having a probe for scanning a sample, a piezoelectric unit finely movable in the X, Y and Z directions, and a probe control unit for controlling a fine movement amount of the piezoelectric unit in the Z direction in accordance with a detected interaction between the sample and the probe. A driving unit applies a continuously changing voltage to the piezoelectric unit to drive the piezoelectric unit in one of an X and Y direction to scan along a scan line, a displacement detection unit detects the displacement of the piezoelectric unit along the scan line, and a matching detection unit outputs a coincidence detection signal when the detected displacement of the piezoelectric unit along the scan line coincides with target displacement values corresponding to desired measurement points. A surface data acquiring unit acquires sample surface data based on the Z-directional fine movement amount of the piezoelectric unit each time the matching detection unit outputs a coincidence detection signal.

    摘要: A pair of sub frames is provided on the outside of a heat exchanger in a vehicle width direction, there is provided a stiffener which interconnects front ends of the sub frames and projects forward, and the stiffener is connected to lower portions of the sub frames. Accordingly, the sufficient attachment rigidity of the stiffener can be secured in the normal state, whereas in the vehicle collision state the stiffener can be easily separated off the sub frames without resisting improperly, so that the safety of pedestrian can be secured.

    摘要: A display has a display panel of a first aspect ratio and is able to display on the display panel an image of a second aspect ratio whose width element is larger than that of the first aspect ratio. The display has a gate driver, a data driver, and a timing controller. The gate driver sequentially selects gate lines of the display panel. The data driver stores data for one gate line and supplies the data to one of the gate lines selected by the gate driver. The timing controller supplies control signals to the gate and data drivers so that predetermined data is displayed in top and bottom non-image areas of the display panel during a vertical blanking period. The display is capable of displaying images of different sizes.

    摘要: A dielectric resonator apparatus comprising at least three quarter-wavelength dielectric coaxial resonators in a dielectric block is provided. In the dielectric resonator apparatus, an outer conductor is formed on the surfaces of the dielectric block, and a pair of input and output electrodes for capacitively coupling with the two dielectric coaxial resonators located at both ends is formed close to a first end surface of the dielectric block on a predetermined side surface of the dielectric block so as to be electrically insulated from the outer conductor. Further, two capacitance coupling electrodes for capacitively coupling with the two dielectric coaxial resonators, respectively, which are selected among at least three dielectric coaxial resonators and are located apart from each other so as to put another one dielectric coaxial resonator therebetween, are formed on the predetermined side surface of the dielectric block so as to be electrically insulated from the outer conductor and so as to be apart from the first end surface by a predetermined length. The two capacitance coupling electrodes are electrically connected through a bypass electrode.
