摘要： Disclosed herein is an optical information recording disk comprising as a base material thereof a polymer or copolymer having a glass transition temperature of at least 50.degree. C. and a structural unit derived from a monomer which is an ester of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid and an alicyclic alcohol represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of 1-5, R denotes a hydrogen or an alkyl or alkenyl group, and, when n stands for an integer of 2-5, the Rs may be the same or different.The above disk does not develop deformation such as warping or twisting by changes in humidity and is uniform optically.

摘要： A styrene resin composition excellent in sliding properties which comprises 100 parts by weight of a styrene polymer, 2.0 to 4.0 parts by weight of dimethylsilicone oil having a viscosity ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 centistokes at 25.degree. C. and 0.05 to 8 parts by weight of maleic anhydride monomer or 0.05 to 50 parts by weight of a maleic anhydride-styrene copolymer containing at least 5% by weight of maleic anhydride monomer units is herein disclosed. The styrene resin composition is excellent in sliding properties and thus does not provide a molded product having poor appearance during molding. The styrene resin composition is used to form mechanical parts in the fields of household appliances and office automation apparatuses.

摘要： A flame-retardant styrene-base resin composition is composed of 100 parts by weight of a styrene-base resin, 2.0-20.0 parts by weight of a halogenous flame retardant and 0.1-5.0 parts by weight of an antimony compound. The weight ratio of halogen atoms/antimony atoms in the resin composition is 5 or greater. The resin composition of this invention has well-balanced specific gravity, impact resistance and heat resistance and flame retardancy.

C., the styrene type resin comprising 3 to 8% by weight of a rubber-like polymer which is present in the form of microgels having an average particle size ranging from 0.6 to 1.2 micron, and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.53 to 0.65 and the content of methanol-soluble matter in the range of from 0.5 to 1.5% by weight, is herein disclosed. The rubber-modified styrene type resin composition is excellent in its sliding properties and thus does not provide a molded product having poor appearance during molding. The rubber-modified styrene type resin composition is used to form mechanical parts in the fields of household appliances and OA apparatuses.

摘要： A resin composition having excellent antistatic properties and practical physical properties. The resin comprises (i) a styrene resin; (ii) a polyethylene oxide having a viscosity-average molecular weight ranging from 15,000 to 1,200,000; (iii) either or both of a (meth) acrylate resin and an oxide selected from the group consisting of titanium oxide, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide; (iv) either a surfactant selected from specific sulfonic acid salts or a surfactant selected from specific alkyl sulfates; and, optionally, (v) a (poly)ethylene glycol having an average molecular weight ranging from 62 to 1,200. The resin composition also provides excellent resistance to hot water.
