    摘要: A front surface of the opposite electrode of a liquid crystal display panel is formed in a curved shape. The relation between the reflecting surface of the pixel electrode and the curved surface of the opposite substrate is defined so that a leaving direction of the light that is reflected by the first face of the opposite substrate is different from a leaving direction of light that is emitted from the first face of the opposite substrate after having been reflected by the pixel electrodes through the liquid crystal layer. Thus, undesired light on the front surface of the opposite substrate is separated from light that is displayed. Consequently, an image free of dazzling and deterioration of contrast ratio due to undesired reflected light can be obtained with a high contrast ratio. In a display apparatus containing the reflection type liquid crystal display, an incident surface to a dichroic prism is an inclined surface including a curved surface, not a surface that is perpendicular to the optical axis. Thus, signal light that is reflected on each reflection type liquid crystal display panel and that is displayed can be separated from undesired light that is reflected on the surface of the dichroic prism. Thus, an image with a high quality, and a high contrast ratio can be displayed.

    摘要: A pixel electrode is disposed with an inclination angle to a base member on a front side (namely, an opposite substrate side) of a liquid crystal display panel. The relation between the reflecting surface of the pixel electrode and the main surface of the base member on the front side of the liquid crystal display panel is defined so that the difference between the reflecting angle of light that is entered as incident light and reflected on the surface of the base member and the leaving angle of light emitted as display light via the liquid crystal display panel exceeds the collection angle of the display apparatus. Thus, undesired light on the main surface of the base member of the display surface is separated from light that is displayed. Consequently, an image free of dazzling and deterioration of contrast ratio due to undesired reflected light can be obtained with a high contrast ratio. In a display apparatus containing the reflection type liquid crystal display, an incident surface to a dichroic prism is an inclined surface, not a surface that is perpendicular to the optical axis.     摘要: The present invention describes a silver halide color negative photographic light-sensitive material having an improved graininess and an excellent image quality even when picture-taken under various light sources each having a color temperature different from daylight. A plurality of grooves (333, 341) are provided between the insulator base (303) and the rubber plate (342) to locate the corresponding cables (305) in the grooves (333,341) so as to form a static capacity (C1) between the electrode plate (332) and the cables (305). This makes it possible to reduce a noise level by the ratio of the static capacity (C1) to a static capacity (C2) between the electrically conductive wall (313) and the electrode plate (332). An electrical shield sheet (343) is fixedly attached to the lower surface of the rubber plate (342).

    摘要: A mixing ratio detecting device for composite liquid has a transparent column placed so that a bottom of the column is in contact with a mixing liquid, and a light emitting diode disposed so that light beams therefrom are incident on one side of the column to pass therethrough so as to impinge on an interface between the bottom of the column and the mixing liquid. The light beams impinged on the interface less than a critical angle are refracted, while the light beams impinged on the interface more than the critical angle totally reflected to escape from other side of the column. A photo diode is provided to receive the light beams escaped from the other side of the column so as to generate an output. An effective photo-receiving area of the photo diode is in the form of an inversed trapezoid to compensate for characteristics of the output from the photo diode.
