    摘要: In a valve operating system in an internal combustion engine, the operational characteristic of an engine valve which is an intake valve or an exhaust valve can be changed in accordance with the operational state of the engine, the reduction in size thereof can achieved and moreover, the operational characteristic of the engine valve can be finely changed, and the lifted state of the engine valve can be detected simply. A power transmitting device is formed of an inner wheel, an outer wheel and a carrier which rotatably carries a planetary rotor. Among these components forming the power transmitting device, a first component is operatively connected to a cam shaft, and a second component is connected to an engine valve. A rotational amount control device connected to a third component, controls the amount of rotation of the third component in accordance with the operational state of the engine. A first discharge bore is provided in a support shaft supporting the inner wheel and leads to an oil passage, and a second discharge bore provided in the inner wheel, communicates with the first discharge bore. The area of communication of the second discharge bore with the first discharge bore can be changed with a change in the amount of relative angular displacement of the inner wheel relative to the support shaft.

    摘要: A valve operating system in an internal combustion engine is disclosed, wherein the operational characteristic of an engine valve which is an intake valve or an exhaust valve, can be changed in accordance with the operational state of the engine. In the valve operating system, a power transmitting means comprises an inner wheel, an outer wheel surrounding the inner wheel, and a carrier on which a planetary rotor is rotatably carried. The inner wheel is operatively connected to a cam shaft, and the outer wheel is connected to the engine valve. A rotational-amount control device is connected to the carrier for controlling the rotational amount of the carrier in accordance with the operational state of the engine. Thus, the size of the valve operating system can be reduced, and moreover, the operational characteristics of the engine valve can be finely changed.

    摘要: A pair of disk-shaped guide members abut on opposite end surfaces in the axial direction of a conductor wire wound round into a coil shape by using a separable jig. The guide members are biased toward each other by engaging a part of the conductor wire with engaging portions formed at circumferences of the pair of guide members. Then, the jig is separated from the center of the conductor wire, thereby maintaining the coiled shape of the conductor wire to create a bobbinless coil having an exposed inner peripheral surface. In addition, the pair of disk-shaped guide members are biased toward each other by utilizing a part of the conductor wire, and therefore a special biasing member is not needed.

    摘要: In a V6 engine that can switch between a first running state and a second running state which differ in the number of cylinders that are permitted to operate, when switching from L3 selective cylinder operation to V4 selective cylinder operation is determined to be required, control of an active vibration isolation support system corresponding to L3 selective cylinder operation is normally continued for one cycle. However, in this case of switching from L3 selective cylinder operation to V4 selective cylinder operation, a vibration pattern of L3 selective cylinder operation continues for longer than usual, that is, for a period greater than one cycle. Therefore, control of the active vibration isolation support system corresponding to the vibration pattern of L3 selective cylinder operation is continued for two cycles of the vibration pattern, thereby further effectively improve a vibrational state when switching between running states from L3 selective cylinder operation to V4 selective cylinder operation.

    摘要: A damping method for a hybrid vehicle in which a power unit consisting of an engine and a motor is supported in a vehicle body frame via an active vibration isolation support system includes: a step of firstly damping vibration of the power unit by the active vibration isolation support system; and a subsequent step of controlling operation of the motor to damp vibration that has not been eliminated by the active vibration isolation support system. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the damping effect from being degraded by interference between the damping control by the active vibration isolation support system and the damping control by the motor, and to reduce the total power consumption by preferentially operating the active vibration isolation support system which has low power consumption, and secondarily operating the motor which has high power consumption.

    摘要: An actuator of an active engine vibration isolation support system is driven based on the first, second, third . . . duty groups calculated corresponding to the vibration periods t1, t2, t3 . . . of the engine. When the engine rotational speed varies in the increasing direction and the vibration periods t1, t2, t3 . . . become gradually shorter, parts of the first, second, third . . . duty groups overlap each other, and therefore an electrical current which is supplied to the actuator does not become 0 at the end of the duty groups, leading to a possibility that a peak value of the electrical current gradually increases so that not only the active vibration isolation support system cannot exhibit an effective vibration isolation function, but also the actuator generates heat. Therefore, for example, when the overlapping amount of the first and the second duty groups exceeds a threshold value, a duty ratio of the second duty group is made 0 to stop application of the electrical current to the actuator. Thus, the vibration isolation function of the active vibration isolation support system is prevented from being impaired by the variation in the frequency of the input vibration.

    摘要: An active type vibration isolating support system includes: an elastic body for elastically supporting a vibratory body; a liquid chamber to be defined by the elastic body; a movable member for changing capacity of the liquid chamber; and an actuator for driving the movable member. The actuator has: a fixed core; a movable core coupled to the movable member for being arranged opposite to the fixed core via an air gap; and a coil for generating an electromagnetic attracting force between the fixed and movable cores. The movable member and the movable core are coupled together through coupling units capable of adjusting the air gap. Thus, without preparing several types of coupling members, it is possible to obtain a desired vibration isolating characteristic by freely adjusting the air gap between the fixed core and the movable core.
