    摘要: A glass weather strip for a vehicle is provided for holding or sealing a sliding window glass of a vehicle. The glass weather strip is made of at least two layers of a base layer and a surface layer formed on the base layer on which a window glass slides, in the area where the window glass slides through the glass weather strip, the base layer is made of a thermoplastic elastomer softer than the surface layer, the surface layer is made of a thermoplastic elastomer harder than the base layer and containing short fibers dispersed therein.

    摘要: The invention is to provide a vehicle glass run, in which a seal lip prevents displacement or vibration of a door glass, exactly holds the door glass, reduces sliding resistance between the door glass and the seal lip, and prevent generation of abnormal noises. The vehicle-interior seal lip is formed to be longer than a vehicle-exterior seal lip, and has a body of the vehicle-interior seal lip extending from the vehicle-interior side wall, a bent portion thereof being bent toward a bottom wall from the body of the vehicle-interior seal lip, and a front end portion of the same extending from the bent portion with a length contacting the vehicle-interior side wall at the front end portion of the vehicle-interior seal lip, when the door glass contacts the vehicle-interior seal lip. The vehicle-interior side wall is performed with a treatment to reduce the sliding resistance on a face of the vehicle-interior side wall contacted by the vehicle-interior seal lip.

    摘要: An automobile trim has a trim body (a base layer) formed of a rubber composition and having a design surface, a decorating layer formed of a thermoplastic elastomer composition and thermally bonded integrally with the design surface of the trim body. A thermal bonding layer is formed of a thermoplastic resin composition and interposed between the decorating layer and the trim body so that the decorating layer is thermally bonded integrally with the trim body through the thermal bonding layer. The thermal bonding layer has a thickness to an extent not to prevent bending flexibility when the trim is attached to a vehicle body. In another example, a cushion layer is laminated on the trim body and formed of sponge rubber of EPDM, a decorating layer is laminated on the cushion layer and formed by foaming olefin thermoplastic elastomer, and an olefin bonding layer for bonding the cushion layer and the decorating layer.

    摘要: A vehicle glass run is formed with a horizontal-side extrusion part, vertical-side extrusion parts, and corner molding parts for connecting the terminal ends of those in an L shape by molding. The horizontal-side extrusion part and the vertical-side extrusion parts are made of a first material of an olefin thermoplastic elastomer. The corner molding parts are made of a second material which is an olefin thermoplastic elastomer and has a viscosity lower than that of the first material. The material swiftly reaches the terminal ends of the extrusion parts, and heat welds them together.

    摘要: A glass run that is fitted inside the doorframe of a motor vehicle reduces noise due to the use of a fine lubricant powder. The powder prevents noise of inner lips of the glass run. which strike and separate from inner walls of the glass run. The fine powder, such as silicon powder, polyaminde resin powder, molybdenum disulfide powder and fatty acid amide powder, is contained in the main body of an EPDM rubber or TPO in a dispersed condition. Alternatively, foam rubber layers may be formed on the inside walls to reduce noise.
