In transmitting a device trigger message operation, a core network device receives a device trigger message sent by a first device, where the device trigger message includes information that indicates validity time of the device trigger message; when it is determined that a timer exists, compares the validity time with duration of the timer; if the validity time is greater than the duration of the timer, sends the device trigger message to a user equipment UE after the timer times out; and if the validity time is not greater than the duration of the timer, sends a message to the first device and/or discarding the device trigger message, where the message is used to indicate that triggering is rejected, or transmission fails, or device triggering fails.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for transmitting data. The method includes: determining, after receiving a first message sent by a user equipment, whether first indication information is set, where the first indication information indicates that a server buffers downlink data to be sent to the user equipment; and when determining that the first indication information is set, retaining a signaling connection to the user equipment, and triggering the server that buffers the downlink data to send the downlink data to the user equipment. The method and device for transmitting data according to the embodiments of the present invention can save power of a user equipment.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a roaming network access method and apparatus, where the method includes: obtaining a mobile country code MCC of a roaming area; obtaining a preferential roaming list, where the preferential roaming list is used to indicate information about at least one network that a user preferentially attempts to register with when the user is roaming; selecting a network that matches the MCC from the preferential roaming list and searching for the selected network; and each time a network is found by the searching, attempting to register with the found network. By means of the roaming network access method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention, duration of network searching performed by user equipment is shortened, time spent by the user equipment on initial network access in the roaming area is reduced.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for transmitting data. The present invention discloses a local network and a method for establishing a connection between a local gateway and a home base station therein. As regards a newly proposed home base station network architecture 1, a mobility management network element receives L-GW information sent by the home base station, selects an L-GW which is located in the same local network as the home base station at least according to the received L-GW information and then informs the L-GW, through an S-GW, of establishing a PDN connection and a tunnel bearer with the home base station, thereby providing a local IP access for a UE. As regards a newly proposed home base station network architecture 2, no direct interface is arranged between the L-GW and the S-GW, the mobility management network element directly selects a corresponding L-GW for establishing a PDN connection for the UE.

The wireless terminal establishes a connection with a second RAT network. The wireless terminal receives a first message sent by the second RAT network. The first message includes content used to query a first RAT capability of the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal sends a second message to the second RAT network. The second message is used to indicate that the wireless terminal does not support the first RAT.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for a single card dual standby user equipment to camp on a network and a user equipment, so as to reduce power consumption of a user equipment. The method in the embodiment of the present invention includes: when a circuit switched domain CS domain of a UE camps on a second-generation mobile communications technology 2G/third-generation mobile communications technology 3G network and a packet switched domain PS domain camps on a long term evolution LTE network, executing, by the UE, a routing area update process of the PS domain of the 2G/3G network if the UE meets a preset first condition, so as to make the PS domain of the UE camp on the 2G/3G network; and after the PS domain of the UE camps on the 2G/3G network, turning off an LTE radio frequency unit.

The present disclosure discloses a method, an apparatus, and a system for connecting to a network. Embodiments of the present disclosure include: sending, by an MME, a first message to a server; and receiving, by the MME, a second message sent by the server, where the second message is used to instruct the MME to perform a relay process, where the relay process specifically includes: acquiring a list of candidate relay UEs that relay the UE, and sending a third message to candidate relay UE in the list of candidate relay UEs, where the third message is used to instruct the candidate relay UE in the list of candidate relay UEs to send a fourth message to the UE, and the fourth message is used by the UE to determine selected relay UE and connect to a network by using the selected relay UE.

The present invention discloses a mobility management method, a serving GPRS support node (SGSN) or a mobility management entity (MME), and a terminal. Setting or dynamically modifying the mobility management frequency of a particular terminal among numerous terminals is enabled. The technical solution of the present invention includes: obtaining subscription data of a terminal, where the subscription data carries periodic update setting information; obtaining a periodic update interval of the terminal according to the periodic update setting information; sending the periodic update interval to the terminal; and setting a value that is a longer than the periodic update interval of the terminal as a mobile reachable interval for monitoring the periodic update of the terminal.
