    摘要: The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition containing a base oil (A), a molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B), an ester-based ashless friction modifier (C), and a metal salicylate (D), wherein the content of a molybdenum atom derived from the molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B) is 650 ppm by mass or more on the basis of the whole amount of the lubricating oil composition; a content ratio [C/BMo] of the ester-based ashless friction modifier (C) to a molybdenum atom derived from the molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B) is 5.0 to 10 in terms of a mass ratio; the content of a salicylate soap group derived from the metal salicylate (D) is 0.50% by mass or more on the basis of the whole amount of the lubricating oil composition; and a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. is 4.0 mm2/s or more and less than 9.3 mm2/s, and a high-temperature high-shear viscosity at 150° C. is 1.7 mPa·s or more and less than 2.9 mPa·s. In accordance with the present invention, a viscosity-reduced lubricating oil composition in which nonetheless a molybdenum dithiocarbamate and an ashless friction modifier are jointly used, not only friction can be reduced early after commencement of lubrication, but also such a state can be maintained, is provided.

The device calculates an expected output value such that the expected output value calculated when the influence parameter value is a first value is smaller than the expected output value calculated when the influence parameter value is a second value, the expected output value being an output value which is expected to be output from the sensor when the exhaust gas, which includes NO having the expected NO concentration and the particular component having the expected particular component concentration, reaches the sensor. The device diagnoses that a malfunction occurs in the catalyst when the output value of the sensor is equal to or larger than a malfunction diagnosis threshold defined on the basis of the expected output value.

    摘要: In a limited-current type gas sensor which detects oxygen-containing gas contained in an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine, the decomposition current value of water (H2O) may be detected, and existence of an abnormality of output characteristics of the sensor may be diagnosed based on its deviation from a reference decomposition current value of water corresponding to the concentration of water contained in the exhaust gas. A NOx sensor and a SOx sensor can also diagnose remarkable and minute abnormalities of output characteristics. In addition, the reference decomposition current value of water may be acquired based on the concentration of water detected by a separate humidity sensor or the decomposition current value of oxygen detected by the limited-current type gas sensor. The reference decomposition current value of water may be corrected based on a decomposition current value of oxygen detected during a fuel cut.
