The frame can have a plurality of axial struts interconnected by a plurality of circumferential struts. The leaflet structure comprises a plurality of leaflets (e.g., three leaflets arrange to form a tricuspid valve). The leaflet structure has a scalloped lower edge portion secured to the frame. The skirt member can be disposed between the leaflet structure and the frame.

摘要: Embodiments of a radially collapsible and expandable prosthetic heart valve are disclosed. A valve frame can have a tapered profile when mounted on a delivery shaft, with an inflow end portion having a smaller diameter than an outflow end portion. The valve can comprise generally V-shaped leaflets, reducing material within the inflow end of the frame. An outer skirt can be secured to the outside of the inflow end portion of the frame, the outer skirt having longitudinal slack when the valve is expanded and lying flat against the frame when the valve is collapsed. A diagonally woven inner skirt can elongate axially with the frame. Side tabs of adjacent leaflets can extend through and be secured to window frame portions of the frame to form commissures. The window frame portions can be depressed radially inward relative to surrounding frame portions when the valve is crimped onto a delivery shaft.

摘要: A seashore wave energy converting facility (10), comprising: an ascending ramp (12), being a sloped ramp installed at seashore line such that a lowered end thereof (12a) is immersed in the sea while an elevated end thereof (12b) is located above the sea level; a descending ramp (14), being a sloped ramp having a opposite slope with regard to the ascending ramp (12), the descending ramp being connected continuously by an elevated end thereof to the elevated end (12b) of the ascending ramp (12); a turbine (20) located under a lower edge of the at least one additional descending ramp (14); and a construction (18) for placing the facility (10) at seashore line; thereby enabling installation of the wave energy converting facility (10) at a seashore. The sea water may be directed to a spiral ditch, wherein the turbine is disposed, thereby increasing the power generation efficiency.

摘要: A valve loading apparatus is provided for loading a crimped prosthetic valve into a lumen of a delivery system. The valve recoil adapter can counteract recoil of a compressed prosthetic valve, and maintain the valve at its desired crimp diameter. An integrated bioprosthesis/delivery system is provided for delivering a bioprosthesis to a target area within a body lumen is provided. The delivery system includes a valve covering member and a compressing member, which compresses the valve covering member to surround, hold, and/or compress the valve during delivery to the target area.
