摘要:
The present invention relates to a device and a method for detecting blood or blood constituents in the liquid system of a device for extracorporeal blood treatment, comprising a dialysis device or filter divided by a semipermeable membrane into a first chamber and a second chamber, wherein the first chamber is part of the extracorporeal blood circulation system and the second chamber part of the liquid system of the extracorporeal blood treatment device. The device according to the present invention for detecting blood or blood constituents in the liquid system of an extracorporeal blood treatment device is designed as a unit for differentiating between the entry of blood into the liquid system due to a defect of the dialysis device or filter, for example a rupture of the semipermeable membrane of the dialysis device or filter, or the entry of hemoglobin into the liquid system due to hemolysis, wherein a differentiation is made between a defect of the dialysis device or filter or hemolysis based on the change in intensity of at least the blue fraction of the light exiting from the liquid.

摘要:
An apparatus for treating a medical liquid includes a treatment machine having a coupling surface and a flexible mat arranged on the coupling surface, with a cassette made of a hard part having liquid-conducting passages therein which are covered by a flexible film that is couplable to the coupling surface of the treatment machine via the flexible mat. The apparatus includes an element for monitoring a fault-free coupling to the cassette at the coupling surface by determining a difference of the pressure between the cassette and the flexible mat and the pressure between the flexible mat and the coupling surface. A method for checking the leak tightness of the fault-free coupling employs the apparatus.

The air nozzle attachment (8) for the hair dryer (2) is connectable to the blower opening (7) of the hair dryer and produces a hot-air stream (9) and a cold-air stream (10) that are arranged side-by-side. The air nozzle attachment (8) has a hot-air nozzle (13) and a cold-air nozzle (14) located side-by-side and, on an end connectable to the blower opening (7), has a central conduit entrance (11) and a coaxial conduit entrance (12), which open into the hot-air nozzle (13) and the cold-air nozzle (14) respectively. The air nozzle attachment (8) can be detached again from the dryer (2) and preferably has a snap-on coupling device (18) for connecting the air nozzle attachment to the dryer (2), which permits rotation of the air nozzle attachment.

A medical appliance having an auxiliary computer system in addition to its action computer system, and further having two communications buses. The auxiliary computer system independently monitors the functional mode of the action computer system and can induce a reliable state of the appliance in an emergency. To easily, quickly and reliably implement a programming, the execution of test sequences, the diagnosis and the maintenance of such an appliance, a connection line, which can be interrupted by a switch, is arrange between the communication buses, and both communications buses can be connected to form a unified communications bus via the communication line. A method for executing such a programming process, testing process, diagnostic process and/or maintenance process of a medical appliance is also provided.

Device (1) for drying hair, comprising a hand-held unit (2) which is adapted to emit or discharge a flow of air to be directed onto the hair, characterized in that the hand-held unit (2) has a power source (18) which is arranged in a path (13) of the air flow to be emitted or discharged from the unit (2). In this way, heat or thermal energy that is generated in the power source (18) can be recovered or retrieved and transferred directly to the air flow in the device (1) so as to collect or scavenge waste heat from the power source.
