摘要: A method and system are disclosed for automated call back of a first telephone station that has been placed on hold by a second telephone station in an advanced intelligent network. The system comprises a service switching point connected to the first telephone station, a service node adapted to connect the second telephone station with the first telephone station when the second telephone station becomes available, and a service control point containing a database identifying the service node as adapted to connect the second and first telephone stations. The method includes the following steps: at the service switching point forwarding a request to the service control point to identify one of the plurality of service nodes to handle an automated call back from the second station to the first station; searching the database at the service control point for one of the plurality of service nodes to handle the automated call back to the first station from the second station; identifying to the service switching point, one of the plurality of service nodes to handle the automated call back from the second station to the first station; forwarding to the service node a request for automated call back from the second station to the first station; and upon receiving a signal from the second station at the service node, connecting the second station and the first station.

摘要: A strong, lightweight laminar device which can be used as a fin attachment for surfboards and sail boards, or as a skateboard, sailboard or surfboard, per se. The device comprises a lightweight core and one or more layers of strengthening material surrounding the core. In fabricating the device, a suitably shaped mold is lined with a strengthening layer of carbon fiber. A separating layer of random glass is placed between a first strengthening layer and a second, similar strengthening layer. The space at the interior of the lined mold is filled with an appropriate lightweight, buoyant filler material such as polyurethane foam. After the filler is set or cured, the device is removed from the mold and treated or assembled as desired.

摘要: A derotation plate for information transmission between a rotating body and stationary body. A half-speed carrier is mounted on the rotating body. This rotates at half the speed of the rotating body. The derotation plate which functions similar to a Dove prism or K-mirror is rotated by the half-speed carrier. The derotation plate rotates at half-speed and inverts a rotating matrix of electric, optical or hydraulic signals. The inverted image from the derotation plate is projected on the stationary body as a nonrotating image matrix.

摘要: Computer system and method automatically generates a test source code for checking validity of an application written in an object oriented language. The application includes objects accessible through an interface implementing programming rules and object behavior rules. For each object, the invention extracts object methods and attributes of the object interface which are impacted by the object behavior rules and extracts the object identification. The invention fills the variable fields of a source code template with the extracted information. The template non variable source code is in conformance with the programming rules and implements a scenario for checking a set of object behavior rules; thus the filled template forms a generated test source code. For distributed applications, the specifications may be EJB or CORBA and the Test Generator uses templates for checking the life-cycle (creation, persistency, removal) of deployed objects.

摘要: This invention is directed to a system and method for providing a status notification for a message in a communications network. An embodiment of this invention is a voicemail system, which provides a caller in a telecommunications network with the option of requesting a status notification for a voicemail message when the recording of the message is complete. By requesting status notification, the caller is indicating that the voicemail system should track any actions related to the message that occur within the voicemail system. The caller also specifies a destination identifier, which includes formatting and addressing information that the voicemail system uses for subsequent notification. As actions are taken in relation to the message, the voicemail system creates disposition identifiers and associates these identifiers with the message. When a triggering event occurs, such as the recipient deleting the message, the voicemail system retrieves the disposition identifiers to generate the status notification and sends the status notification in the format and to the address specified by the destination identifier.

摘要: This invention is directed to a system and method for providing a status certification for a voicemail message in a telecommunications network. An embodiment of this invention comprises a voicemail system, which provides a caller in a telecommunications network with the option of certifying a voicemail message when the recording of the message is complete. By certifying the voicemail message, the caller is directing the voicemail system to create a temporary voicemail box and to track any actions related to the message that message that occur within the voicemail system. As changes occur, the voicemail system creates one or more status messages in the temporary voicemail box. If the recipient replies to the messages, the voicemail system also stores the reply in the temporary voicemail box. When a caller subsequently accesses the temporary voicemail box, the caller can access the messages and can also reply to any of the messages. The voicemail system stores the caller's reply in the original recipient's voicemail box.

摘要: The present invention allows a single trigger, such as a Termination Attempt Trigger, to invoke multiple feature service logic programs (feature SLPs) through the use of a Feature Interaction Manager service logic program (FIM-SLP) installed at a service control point (SCP). A database, accessible by the service control point, contains subscriber information such as the type of services subscribed and the order in which the services are to be invoked. The Feature Interaction Manager service logic program invokes individual feature SLPs based on the information contained in the database that specify how the feature SLPs will interact. In one embodiment, the present invention allows multiple services to be deployed within a common service control point. In a different embodiment, the Feature Interaction Manager service logic program located in a first service control point can also invoke features SLPs that are located in other service control points. The Feature Interaction Manager SLP and the feature SLPs can reside on the same SCP. Alternatively, the Feature Interaction Manager SLP and feature SLPs can reside on multiple SCPs. In the case of multiple SCPs, the Feature Interaction Manager SLP can reside by itself or can be co-located with one or more feature SLPs.

摘要: A vacuum apparatus rotatable about an axis through a filter screen for continually removing contaminants, which utilizes an asymmetrical vacuum arm supported by a center hub, and large longitudinally extending asymmetrical vacuum orifices in portions of the arm on opposite sides of the hub, operable for removing large elements of debris, trash and the like from the screen. One of the arm portions cleans a radial outer region of the screen, and the other cleans an inner region, the arm portions being generally even in mass for balance. A knife disposed on the screen cleans and cooperates with a brush on the arm for breaking up larger elements of trash. The arm is also manually removable via a snap together vacuum seal joint, for service and cleaning.
