Abstract:
There is provided a polyethylene-based resin foam sheet with an appearance density of 90 to 600 kg/m3, including: a polyethylene-based resin foam layer; and a polyolefin-based resin layer laminated on at least one side of the polyethylene-based resin foam layer by coextrusion, wherein the polyolefin-based resin layer comprises a mixture of a polypropylene-based resin with a melting point of 135° C. or lower produced using a metallocene catalyst and a polyethylene-based resin, and wherein the polyolefin-based resin layer has a sea-island structure formed on the interface side with the polyethylene-based resin foam layer and a sea-sea structure formed on the surface side of the polyolefin-based resin layer, the sea-island structure having a continuous phase of the polyethylene-based resin and a dispersion phase of the polypropylene-based resin, and the sea-sea structure having a co-continuous phase of the polyethylene-based resin and the polypropylene-based resin.
Abstract:
A laminated foam sheet having a polyethylene resin foam layer and an antistatic polyethylene layer laminated on one or both sides thereof is produced by coextruding melts for respective layers, wherein the melt for the antistatic layer contains a polyethylene resin, an ionomer resin antistatic agent and a specific amount of volatile plasticizer blend containing an alcohol and a saturated hydrocarbon or a dialkyl ether. The antistatic layer of the obtained laminated foam sheet has specific morphology.

Abstract:
A laminated foam sheet having a polyethylene resin foam layer and an outer layer laminated on each side of the foam layer, each outer layer being composed of an outermost surface polyethylene resin layer and an intermediate polyethylene resin layer which is positioned between the outermost surface layer and the foam layer and which contains a specific amount of a polymeric antistatic agent relative to the weight of the intermediate layer and to the basis weight of each of the intermediate layer and outermost surface layer.
Abstract:
A polyethylene-based resin multilayer foam sheet may include a polyethylene-based resin foam layer containing a polyethylene-based resin (A) as a base resin, and a conductive layer laminated on at least one side of the foam layer. The conductive layer contains: a mixed resin of one or more polyethylenes (B) of low-density polyethylenes and/or linear low-density polyethylenes and an ethylene-based copolymer (C) having a structural unit derived from ethylene and a structural unit derived from a monomer having a polar group; and conductive carbon. The conductive carbon blended in the conductive layer may be in a range of from 3 to 15 wt. %. The difference, TmB−TmC, between the melting point TmB of the polyethylene (B) and the melting point TmC of the ethylene-based copolymer (C) each contained in the conductive layer may be in a range of from 30 to 80° C.
Abstract:
A method for producing a multi-layer foam sheet having a foam layer and a resin layer laminated on at least one side of the foam layer, includes coextruding a foamable molten resin composition which contains a low density polyethylene and a physical blowing agent and a molten resin composition which contains 80 to 20% by weight of a specific ethylene-propylene random copolymer and 20 to 80% by weight of a specific polyethylene resin so that the foamable molten resin composition forms the foam layer and the molten resin composition forms the resin layer.
