This invention proves jervine strongly inhibits the hedgehog signal pathway and effectively inhibits the tumor growth using three human tumor xenograft models including lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and basal cell carcinoma in nude mice. Jervine has the potential to be a new antitumor agent.
