摘要: Mounting systems can releasably secure display devices to preexisting surfaces for convenient installation and removal without external tools. A mounting system can comprise lower magnetic assemblies, upper magnetic assemblies, and a mounting sheet. The lower magnetic assemblies can be secured to a rear surface of a display device, for releasably attaching the display device to a preexisting surface. A bottom portion of the mounting sheet can be secured to the rear surface of the display device, while a top portion of the mounting sheet can remain loose from the rear surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can be provided along the loose top portion of the mounting sheet, for releasably attaching the display device to the preexisting surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can retain their connection to the preexisting surface as the display device is pulled away from the preexisting surface, until a threshold condition is met.

摘要: Electronic display systems include mobile units for remotely modifying a displayed image. An electronic display system can include a display surface, a processing device, a mobile unit, and an input device. The display surface can receive and display an image rendered by the processing device. The display image on the display surface can be modified through interaction of the input device and the mobile unit. The input device can sense its position relative to the mobile unit and can transmit data relating to its position to the processing device. The processing device can interpret the position data as operations on the displayed image. Accordingly, the processing device can modify the displayed image on the display surface based on interactions between the input device and the mobile unit.

摘要: A participant response system (50) comprises processing structure (52) running an assessment during which participants are prompted to respond to one or more information requests and a plurality of remote units (62) communicating with the processing structure. The remote units are used by participants to input responses to information requests and convey received response data to the processing structure. The processing structure (52) executes a graphical response data analysis tool that processes received response data thereby to generate response performance data in differing levels. At least one display device (52, 70) communicates with the processing structure and is operable to display graphically the response performance data in one or more of the differing levels.

摘要: An enhanced computer telephony integration system that facilitates the interaction and integration of a private branch exchange (PBX) with a client computer on a computer network. An enhanced telephony (ET) server connects to the PBX and to all running instances of an ET client on a user's computers. The ET server acts as a proxy between the ET clients and the PBX. The ET clients register with the ET server for a certain telephone extension. The ET server then can forward telephone action requests (such as placing a telephone call) from the registered ET clients to the PBX servicing the telephone extension. Moreover, the ET server can relay telephone events (such as an incoming call) from the PBX to all registered clients. The ET server facilitates seamless integration of telephone and personal computer features to provide a rich user-controlled computer-telephone integration for a user.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a device for controlling the temperature of glass by temporarily mounting the device on the glass and causing the flow of thermal energy into or out of the glass to raise or lower the temperature of the glass. In an embodiment, there is provided a windshield heating and cooling device that may heat and/or cool a windshield in the area of damage to be repaired. Such a device may have a thermoelectric control module, one or more heat sinks, and an attachment mechanism for attaching the device to a glass member to bring the device into thermal contact with the glass member.
