摘要: A liquid crystal display device (1) includes an upper substrate (100), a lower substrate (200) and a liquid crystal layer (300) between the two substrates (100, 200). The upper substrate (100) has a common electrode (110). The lower substrate (200) has pixel electrodes (200) and there are many unit pixel regions defined on the lower substrate (200). Each unit pixel region has a transmissive region (230) and a reflective region (240). Liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer (300) are aligned perpendicularly to the surfaces of the substrates (100, 200) when no voltage is applied. There are many irregular protrusions (220) on the pixel electrodes (210). In the reflective region (240), there is a reflective metal layer (250) on the irregular protrusions (220).

摘要: Implementations relate to methods, devices produced by the method, and systems using the devices, for forming three-dimensional interconnect structures for ink piezoelectric printheads. A piezoelectric element array for an ink jet print head can include a plurality of piezoelectric elements spaced from adjacent piezoelectric elements by an interstitial space. Each piezoelectric element can include a central void space formed in a first intermediate layer between the piezoelectric element array and a second intermediate layer that is operable to function as a free space for portions of the piezoelectric elements to actuate into when subjected to the voltage.

摘要: A new method for recovering a catalytic metal and carbon nanotubes from a supported catalyst is provided. The carbon nanotube, including carbon nanotube structures, may serve as the support for the catalytic metal. The valence state of the catalytic metal, if not already in the positive state, is raised to a positive state by contacting the supported catalyst with a mild oxidizing agent under conditions which does not destroy the carbon nanotube. The supported catalyst is simultaneously or subsequently contacted with an acid solution to dissolve the catalytic metal without dissolving the carbon nanotube.

摘要: Aspects relate to frequency estimation and tracking. Frequency information is extracted based on an observation of a single symbol carrying pilot tones, which can be at any bandwidth location. Specifically, the frequency error information is extracted after selecting tones assigned to a specific user. The frequency error can be corrected based on the estimation. Further, the disclosed aspects can be applied to multi-path environments.
