摘要: The present disclosure relates to tissue products comprising crosslinked fibers. The tissue products generally have good formation, such as a Formation Index greater than about 20, strength, such as geometric mean tensile strengths greater than about 700 g/3″ and high bulk, such as sheet bulks greater than about 10 cc/g. Unlike many prior art crosslinked fibers, the crosslinked softwood pulps of the present invention, which are preferably prepared using a glyoxal based crosslinking reagent, are readily dispersible in water and have relatively low degrees of kink and curl. As such, the fibers are well suited for forming wet-laid tissue products and more particularly wet-laid tissue products having improved physical properties, such as improved bulk.

摘要: A nonwoven substrate includes individual fibers each having a fiber surface and a fiber diameter, wherein a portion of the individual fibers include a micro-embossed pattern, and wherein the micro-embossed pattern includes pattern elements equal to or smaller than the fiber diameter. The pattern elements can be recessed into and/or extend out of the fiber surface, and the nonwoven substrate can include polypropylene or polyethylene. A disposable absorbent article includes a nonwoven substrate having individual fibers each having a fiber surface and a fiber diameter, wherein a portion of the individual fibers include a micro-embossed pattern, and wherein the micro-embossed pattern includes pattern elements equal to or smaller than the fiber diameter.

摘要: Absorbent materials described herein can include an intake layer and an absorbent layer. The absorbent material can include a saturation capacity greater than 125 grams, and a second intake time of less than 50 seconds and a wet thickness of less than 17 mm according to the Modified Fluid Intake Under Pressure Test as described herein. In some aspects, the intake layer and the absorbent layer can provide an integrated material including an interface between the intake layer and the absorbent layer. The interface can include at least some fibers of the intake layer mixed with at least some fibers of the absorbent layer.
